It tells me when i make a cloud variable to use only numbers. Why is that. 'Cause i see nothing wrong with a chat forum. If i make one will i get in trouble?

Yes, you will get in trouble for making a chat project.

The reason for this is that there is no good way to moderate them, so there is potential for bullying that can't be reliably found. On the forums and comments, they are slow enough that reporting them and processing those reports isn't a huge problem, but moderating hundreds of chatrooms where messages are sent just about instantly would take much more resources that the Scratch Team does not have.

its perfectly fine to email each other, but if you do, don't come to ST crying because somebody said something mean, as you are not using their website.

I think he is referring to making an email project.

You can make a chat project if there is a list of ok words or phrases, and you can only use those.

You can only make a “Safe” chat type of chat project, because of the reasons state thus far.
