This is how we remember poor little scratchy, all cute and cuddly. but not me. It was a rather chilly morning in Scratchy's Bass Pro fishing Mart, The worms were squirming in there containers, the smell of raw sewage in the bathrooms and flies buzzing around at the front counter. Me and my 6 friends are going on a big fishing trip in the Chesapeake bay, we need to buy some supplies, Worms, Fishing rods, And some hooks. The only problem is this is conveniently the day of the zombie apocalypse! Grab as much as you can before you get bitten, but don't forget to pay or you will be zombie kibble. If you manage to stay alive you will be spared by Scratchy and the zombies. Good luck

The fast and the Furry-ous. Baby scratchy is in a runaway smart car headed to the dump, you will have to jump on top of all the cars in your Mini Van when they are at full speed to get to scratchy, better yet you have to avoid the fire and car crushers on the way to the dump. Good luck!

How this started:

I was thinking one day how there were signature shops, script shops and a few other types of shops on Scratch; and how there wasn't a very good idea shop, so I decided to make one! lizzyhippo is the scratcher who gave me the idea for this idea shop, so thanks to lizzyhippo!

Basically, this is an idea shop where you can ask for ideas, or browse through ideas to find the perfect one for you! Just fill out this form and we'll be giving you ideas as soon as possible:

I'm temporarily back from hiatus due to recently getting some free time in my schedule. I've updated the front post to reflect orders filled out since I've last posted, and I've added new members to the Member's List (at least ones I know about).

@Members:
As you can see, I haven't been able to do much in the Idea Shop, which is why I'm glad you've been able to get some orders filled out. That helps keep things rolling along, even if sluggishly. To be transparent, I'll be able to help out for about 10 days, but then I'll have to go back into hiatus to focus energies into some Summer classes I'm taking. That will probably last until the beginning of August. Again, good work here!

I would agree, we are overflowing… Especially considering I've been on hiatus, and that means less orders are filled out. Not good! However I think I'll have some time for several days to dig through recent orders.

Go ahead! If you want to make your own Idea Shop, that would be great, because then even more Scratchers can get good ideas, and that's the goal, right?

1). One project a lot of Scratchers use to show off their programming skills is an Operating System (OS) project. If you're not sure what this is, here are two examples: SynOS 0.9 iSyn 3 {v3.0}

This idea is more meant to be a challenge then anything else, but some Scratchers have lots of fun making an OS too. If you need ideas of what to add to your OS, you could try adding in a music player, internet, and ping-pong.

2). Have you ever seen a space shooter game? Where you commander a ship and try to destroy asteroids and or enemy ships? Not only is this fun to play, but it can be fun adding in your own twists, like a story line, unique enemies, shops to spend your money, ect… It's can also be a challenge adding in good enemies, good graphics, and variety. (Although you can try sticking to only asteroids.) If you want a storyline:

You're a skinny fighter pilot at Pluto's military base 637P. You've often been described as an elite ace, as well as a “crazy maniac”, due to your ability to pull off crazy stunts that are extremely risky and dangerous. shudders

Recently, the sensors at military base 637P detected an anomaly… Various small masses are headed for the inner solar system. They looked like comets at first, but then something changed. There was a full war fleet of ships coming in, and they didn't look friendly either. Attempts at communication failed to accomplish anything but to prompt an attack on the orbiting communications satellites. Everyone back at 637P is going crazy, because it looks like the invading army can squash the human's space fleet, easy peasy. However, it was soon realized that there is one huge vulnerability of the invading space fleet: its mother ship. It was thought that destroying the mothership would render the rest of the invading space fleet null, inactive, and harmless. However, destroying the mother ship will require lots of risks and skill. Who better to do that then you? As you zip through space on your mission towards the mother ship, you sigh, and reflect on your life long dream to become a cheese maker. Well that's not happening now.

3). I noticed you liked Percy Jackson, and you like being creative. What if you wrote a story about Percy Jackson, and then put the story up on Scratch? Some people have lots of fun writing stories, because it gives you the flexibility to explore a world from a new view point. What if Percy Jackson was a vampire? What if Percy Jackson wakes up one day and the greek camp is gone? If you want to, you can try adding in some images to help tell the story. The challenge in this idea is to write a good story, which takes effort and creativity.
