Is there a way to stretch a sprite, as in make its size go up only on one axis?

There used to be a stretch block in a previous version, but it was removed. 
You could make a separate costume and use the paint editor to do something like that, though.

the physics of pulling itself up wouldn't work i don't think

Make it so that if it is on a ledge and you shrink, it goes up a bit?

i knowYou could use the pen to stretch it?
ClayChips, once had a legendary account called fetchydog567 now just a noob. Waiting to become just the same as his old account. But now, as the time goes by, I know now that i'm not a noob! I'm back! :D

then use variables to make the sprites one! Thank you clay chips and and drmcw for your combined effort I think this could work, also thanks to everyone else who contributed. This topic is closed
