Hi
I came across Scratch when reading a Raspberry Pi book as I was thinking of getting one.
My daughter is 10 and it was about that age I got my first computer (ZX81) so thought she might like to give it a try. After a day of experimenting she's now asking if she can go back on Scratch instead of asking to watch TV. In the space of a couple of days she's figured out loops, keyboard input, sound, graphics (with a bit of parental “why don't you try this” in the background).
Scratch is a fantastic way to get people into programming. You've done a great job scratch team.
