Salutations!
I recently joined Scratch in hopes of learning a new skill and for a new outlet for creativity. The community seems friendly, so I'd like to take this chance to greet it!
Here are some facts about me:
- My name is Alice and I live in the country of Canada in the continent of North America. I am currently in ninth grade.
- I enjoy spending my time reading (mostly classic literature and philosophy), watching local theater performances, and dabbling in writing.
- I greatly admire the work of these people/groups: Søren Kierkegaard (as evidenced by my username), Vampire Weekend, Russian Winters, Ernest Hemingway, Edgar Allen Poe, J. R. R. Tolkien, The Beatles (who doesn't?), Jerome Allen Seinfeld, Pierre Renoir, A. Adamson and V. Jenson, The Decemberists, Anne McLellan, John Steinbeck, etc. If you share my interests, feel free to comment on my page or one of my projects (coming soon!)
- I don't have a phone.
- I used to have other social media accounts but the people on there weren't particularly receptive. Hopefully you guys will be more reactive!

Hello, kierkegaard! Welcome to Scratch!
Also, for privacy reasons it's wise that you don't give out your name. Just saying.

Hi!Thanks for your concern…just a first name and a country/province aren't really enough to locate somebody so it's probably okay. But it's something that kids should check with their parents - it might not be okay with them.
