Well In Forum Threads, You Can Edit Your Own Post. I Think That With This Ability, We Should Also Have The Ability To Edit Our Comments. This Would Be Very Similar To Post Editing Because You Would Edit The Comment For The Same Reason You Would Edit A Post, And With The Fact That Other Scratchers Can't Edit Other People's Posts, That Would Be The Same When Commenting. I Was Just In A Conversation With Someone But The Comment I Left Was Wrong. It Is Okay If You Don't Support!

Indifferent. Bullying could happen, then it would be edited by the time the ST came. Then again, it would help if we could edit. New Scratchers can't edit forum posts, so if it gets added, then it should only be for scratchers.
For now, we just have to be careful.

How is this any different then editing forum posts? Support, though this is a duplicate: HereYep:
And actually, it's sort of rejected: Here
The ability to edit comments, while a nice convenience, would be a real problem for our moderators, as shown in the example that TheHockeyist constructed. In order to moderate an edited comment, you would have to be able to access it's entire edit history - and also how all the replies / surrounding comments looked at any time (to see the remarks in context). I'm afraid it's just too complicated - sorry.
