Alright, since I got here from Panman's videos, I feel like I'd share my opinions on this:

• The idea in and of itself is pretty good.
  
• It seems like you set your goals way too high. You should have an engine going before planning so high, start out small and expand it later. Especially planning for more content than the normal Mario Karts seems unrealistic from what I've seen so far.
  
• The music is great, I'm really liking it, however…
  
• …I got more information regarding the tracks from the music (or to be exact, the description of its YouTube video) than from this thread. It'd be cool if there'd be a small description of its main gimmicks.l
  
• This might just be an outsider's view, but it generally feels like there's a lack of organisation here.

Can I be apart of this project if I don't have special software, or is there any free software I can use to be apart of this project? Just so you know, I'm freakishly good at concept art.

If there's still a free spot, I'd see if I might be able to help plan the tracks' layout. I'll see if I might get some track models done in SketchUp, but the textures might be a problem since afaik there isn't any free software that supports texture mapping (for example, in a lot of tracks the road texture bends with the turns, that's something SketchUp can't do).

Hi, so when I was little I use to play Mario Kart games till they practically broke. It later inspired me to draw out my own custom designed tracks. I don't expect you to want them or anything but I could draw an idea for a track mentioned above and maybe post a pic or email you a pic if you want. Tracks I draw normally get right down to the point mainly because I'm not a good person when it comes to details and my drawing isn't the best. Non the less I'd be happy to draw one or two that don't already have a design. They normally take me like 2-3 Days to draw depending on wether I'm busy or not.

Well I do have a youtube channel that goes by mkexpert01 but it only has 1 official video of a challenge vid I did with my pops. It's a long story but I don't really post any track drawings or ideas.

Sorry for not quoting or anything extra like that I'm currently using a tablet to type this.

One more thing for now I am also quite good at voicing some of the Mario Universe characters, I practice alot be listening to their voice clips and copying them. But I think if I were apart of this, I will stick with track designs mainly because I don't have any good voice recording tool. But any other tracks that you might want me to draw, btw I'm currently talking with Panman14 about designing Shy Guy Express, but still any tracks that you want me to design let me know I'd be happy to work on them. But if you have any kind of request or ideas you want me to try to add in them, tell me about them when you tell me huh track you want me to do.

Side Note: I also do Battle Courses, and again have some of my own if you want to see them for any ideas let me know.

OK I got something from a friend of mine that could work for either RETRO Arena, or Block Castle, he wants me to give him full credit for this course, but he wants me to try to get his course's original name to stay and not change. He named it Block Plains.
You don't have to use it if you don't want to but I felt this course had potential.
