I used this app on my desktop called “Snipping Tool” so I could take snips of what I saw. Thank goodness you couldn't edit any stuff. Yes, I showed people how to do it too, but what harm can be done? Again, then CAN'T edit stuff. Until I find some bad stuff that hackers would be able to use( because you can still copy & paste) I won't unshared that project. And I did copy & paste some stuff, but it just showed me links to the URL of the username pictures. That's it. Even for my old picture. I also saw the code that they used to show you if you used bad language and the notification if you followed someone and stuff. It was at the close to end of all the code. That code reminds me of CodeAcademy.

Um, your allowed to see the code . You can just hit F12 and it will appear. If you edit it, it won't change the actual website or project editor code. That stays on the Scratch server. F12 on Windows opens the web developer tool menu or whatever it is called, and it allows you to see the code for every, at least I think, website.

Well the way I do it let's you see it better. Who wants to figure out all of that? And how do you know something nothing's wrong with it? Some one could still copy & paste IP addresses!!

Where did you see IP Addresses? I think those aren't stored openly for all to see… Or are they?

IP addresses from where? o.0 The code there is just the HTML code, the way the site's formatted, and javascript, I think. Like said, editing it will only work for you and it won't be permanent at all. c:

Ya, just HTML. I like to play around with that on random websites sometimes.

Posted a comment. Anyways, check my country. Not in the dropdown. That's basically the worst that can happen. If you're on Chrome, right-click and hit view page source to see the whole code.

Just copied the whole code, then pasted it in about:blank to replicate this page. xD

We appreciate the concern, but what you're seeing is just HTML and Javascript - client-side code that tells your browser what content to show. That's available for anyone to easily see, and it's not a concern. Everything that's confidential like IP addresses and passwords is handled server-side and can't be seen by someone viewing the website.
