I have Scratch 1.4. Have tried sharing my game by uploading it various times. Have tried sharing it by compressing the files and by not compressing the files.

No luck. Can anyone please help?

The computer we are using is a Mac OS X version 10.6.8

The game trying to be shared is 7543 Kbytes.

An indicator bar pops up showing us that the game is being uploaded, but then once the bar “fills up” to show that it has completed the task, we get a message in red that says, “Failed” Unknown reason."

Not sure whether you are using ‘upload’ from within the off-line V1.4 or from the the online V2.0 interface. Both should work but if you've tried one, suggest trying the other. As far as I know, uploading it from the online V2.0 will convert it to V2.0 (no good if you want to share it with other users of V1.4). I wouldn't compress the file, just leave it ‘as is’. Though your file is not small (at 7.5MB) it is still well within the current 50MB limit.

You may wish to consider moving to Scratch 2.0 for any new projects.

In the page where all the scratch blocks are there is a button saying share in the top right corner,Hope this helps!
