Extremely long/tall vector costumes display as black rectangles

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 124.0.0.0, No Flash version detected. Bug is self-explanatory.

I've created a project to demonstrate this.

The black rectangles are a Chrome thingy that you see when there's an error, while in Firefox for Android (My browser / operating system: Android 11, Firefox 125.0, Flash 32.0 (release 0)), it just refuses to display anything in the project and crashes.

After experimenting with this bug some more, I've noticed that:
  • Changing the size attribute of the sprite can actually make it render normally in some scenarios, showing that the sprite's size may cause the issue, not its costume's size. I'm still not sure about this, as I changed the size of Scratch Cat's costume to 540000 and it still rendered “normally”.
  • Rotating the sprite's costume causes the entire dimensions the sprite takes up to be bugged. Changing the sprite's direction works as expected.
  • Non-text objects are also affected. Bitmaps are not because they are cut off by Scratch.
