February Game Contest
Do you make games on Scratch? Do you want to participate in a contest where everyone has an almost fair shot? Do you want frequent contests? Welcome to the February Game Contest! Here, you can add games and they will be judged on: Creativity = 10/30 Art = 10/30 Punctuality (You'll lose points if you submit late!) = 5/30 Popularity = 5/30 On Punctuality: 5 points if you submit your project before January ends or on January 31. 4 points if you submit your project before or on February 10. 3 points if you submit your project before or on February 15. 2 points if you submit your project before or on February 20. 1 point if you submit your project before or on February 25. 0 points if you submit your project after or on February 26. On Popularity: 5 points if your project has more than or equal to 500 views (let's start small) 4 points if your project has 250 or more views. 3 points if your project has 100 or more views. 2 points if your project has 50 or more views. 1 point if your project has more than or equal to 3-10 views (we are expecting a lot of projects, and there are so many projects seeking attention) 0 points if your project has less than 3 views. On Punctuality: 5 points if you submit your project before February or 31st January 4 points if you submit your project before or on 10 February. 3 points if you submit your project before or on 15 February. 2 points if you submit your project before or on 20 January 1 point if you submit your project before or on 25 January. 0 points if you submit after 25 January. Based on judging on each project, an average score will be rounded and that will be your final score. You cannot put more than one project, but you can add up to 3 projects in the next contest. All curators can be judges, and all managers can edit the rules AND be a judge. Any curator can become a manager upon request. Curators can invite people to become curators. Curators and managers cannot add games to this contest, although the ban will be lifted in the next contest. Anyone who submits their project before 10 February will get 2 extra points. Anyone who submits on the last date will be penalized and lose 1 point. If you get more than 15 points by all the judges, you will get 5 extra points (NOTE: If you get 30 points by all the judges, you will not get 5 extra points, but you will get a tiebreak score of 5). If you get less than 5 points by all the judges, you will get 2 "sympathy points". Breaking of rules will get you disqualified immediately, and you will not be eligible for the next contest. Last date of submitting is 28 February. Prizes: 1st - loves and favorites on any 3 project you choose, plus a follow by me, @theinvincibleari. 2nd- love and favorite on any project you choose, plus a follow by me, @theinvincibleari. 3rd- A love or a favorite which you choose on a project you choose, plus eligibility in the next contest and 3 extra points in the next contest. Tiebreaker: You will get a "tiebreak" score (out of 5) by the judges. Whoever's tiebreak score is larger will have a higher rank. In case of same score and tiebreak score, you will have to make a new game and the judging will be done again only by the managers. On the low chance that the score turns out equal, both contestants will get same rank. All contestants will not be eligible for the next contest except for the 3rd awardee. There is a sample project too, but it cannot be disqualified because it is for the contestants' benefit. The reason why I said earlier that everyone has a fair shot is because the average can change between any two judges, and no first prize winner can win two contests in a row. Good luck to all contestants!
