If you mean just as icons around the site, then I do not think anything should upstage the cat. The cat connotes Scratch, If you see it Scratch is what you would first think of. It is good to have a recognisable emblem, and the cat is Scratch's. However, I do think it would be interesting to see these other sprites as icons on a users personal profile, as links to, say, My Stuff and messages.
