I think they should just use the same “host whitelist” system as they do on the forums. If it works on the forums it will work there too.

I’m not sure. Whilst a cool addition, we have other places for announcements. This is also nothing to do with coding.

this seems pretty easy for the ST to add, all they literally have to do is link a topic for the user's announcements and link back to their profile

Support because it gives a new way to interact with the community. Also, do these have the chance to get put on the front page? (Out of curiosity, we all know I rarely get off the forums when I'm on Scratch) - though why must BBCode be added to it? Doesn't it raise a chance for spam- also, community posts would be reportable, right? Would there be polls you could create with it?
