What is the most overrated house?

Hufflepuff?
Ravenclaw?
Slytherin?
Gryffindor?

I personally think Gryffindor because most people only like it because Harry Potter was in there and they didn't do that well when Harry left

I personally think ravenclaw because most people only like it because they are smart but i hate them because on pottermore they are first on every quiz

Harry had absolutely no idea of the mirror yet (like @Elsafan1010 said) but I do think he could've been a bit more wary of Kreacher's words when he Floo'ed to Grimmauld Place.

At that point, I wouldn't have trusted Kreacher when he said that because.. who even trusts Kreacher in OOTP? In DH he starts to become much more welcoming to Harry, Ron and Hermione but that's irrelevant when we're talking about this.

He should've went upstairs and actually checked if Sirius was there but then again, he had a limited amount of time before Umbridge caught him.

It's basically Kreacher's fault that Sirius died but Harry Potter is full of many tragic deaths so idk

Yeah that's true, but my point is that even if he did know the two-way mirror was the gift he wouldn't have checked it because we all know that Harry goes with his instincts.

A few years back I would have said gryffindor or slytherin or both. But now almost every house gets acknowledgement even hufflepuff and ravenclaw. So yea nowadays none of them is overrated they are all perfectly rated.

I agree with you. Gryffindor is pretty overrated.
It's literally just:

Gryffindor = good guys
Slytherin = bad guys
Ravenclaw = smart people
Hufflepuff = leftover people

The Sorting Hat basically says that in its song in the.. first book? Correct me if I'm wrong

As somebody who's been in all the houses previously except Slytherin (I'm currently a Hufflepuff), Gryffindor gets too much attention. Imagine you're a first year and you get sorted into Slytherin or something — the Sorting Hat basically decided a child's fate and they say “Okay, you're a villain now, DEAL WITH IT.” How can a hat decide whether somebody is evil or not? Slytherin just has that reputation because it's the house Voldy Moldy was in. And there are actually decent people in that house! Take Slughorn, for example. He is A SLYTHERIN and he's a nice bloke. It's only because all the main characters are in Gryffindor, that's why everybody likes it so much. Peter was in Gryffindor, and he ended up a Death Eater. Everybody thinks Hufflepuffs are just useless. Tonks was a Hufflepuff, and she could have passed as a Gryffindor! Luna was a Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw is a pretty unrepresented house. She is one of the only Ravenclaws that actually is a crucial character in the story.

In conclusion, it doesn't matter what house you're in, honestly just depends the decisions you decide to make in life.

I feel like the movies really pushed Harmione and would've gladly killed off Ron if he wasn't a key character in the books. That's partly a reason why I love the books more. You can do whatever you want with it and imagine them the way you want: there isn't a right or wrong. I personally don't remember what I thought was going to happen, I didn't really care about the romanticism and just wanted to see what happened. I didn't even predict anything

seems like a Harry potter ripoff involving the use of a time turner and the main character's kids

In all Siriusness, Cursed Child is the worst thing that I have had the displeasure to behold. Fanfiction is where I spend most of my time. I have personally never met somebody who likes Cursed Child.

I think it's Goblet of Fire because it really expands on the world-building and you get to see new wizarding schools. Plus, Voldy coming back made the series a whole lot more interesting.
For some reason, I liked Order of the Phoenix the first time I read the series. Now I don't know why, I think I liked the aspect of Dumbledore's Army, hiding from Umbridge and the introduction to the Order in general. Reading it again, those aspects I just mentioned weren't as strong as I remembered, y'know? Still pretty good book, though.

Mine has to be Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm a sucker for the Marauders.

That was such a good book AHAHAHAHA!1!1!1! It came close to being my favourite, to be honest. The Marauders were amazing! I like it because it actually starts getting a bit more darker. The first two books were kind of an introduction.
