I would say not. The only reason this suggestion is created is to prevent spam, just like how the New Scratcher status is to prevent spam. The Scratch Team does not want to add ranks to prevent controversy and division among the community.
Yea, I agree with the above statement. In the list of rejected suggestions, a rejected suggestion is to add roles above Scratcher; adding Advanced and Expert Forumer would break a continuation of the rejected suggestion.

The problem with just a set post count rule is that spammers can create the number of spam posts, then spam more efficiently. There would have to be another rule in place alongside a post count rule.

So would 100+ and scratcher be enough? If not, perhaps being on scratch for about 6 months.

The point of this is so that it's completely seperate from the Scratcher role. And 6 months is a long time, but a time period might be good to add.

Indeed, the NS and S would mean nothing, it's completely measured by the forums.

Also, setting a threshold of 100 posts is not very representative of them using the forums properly. You could theoretically spam Support on a hundred topics without anyone knowing and earn the forumer role. I already said upvotes.

I will be temporarily participating on this site on April 1 2021 then leaving again

I saw a few Scratchers with over 100 posts that spams everywhere. And their posts are like inciting people, or gossip about other websites, so they'll get a lot upvotes. I think the upvotes and post count won't help at this point.

Planning on coming back soon.

We don't have upvotes.

I say 6 months because that's about how long it took me to fully understand what is allowed.

I will support because a user with Scratcher status may have not ever used the forums before… That must be clear to other users.

I see the discussion about a 6 month limit, but I believe it should be 1 or 2. 6 is a pretty long time.
Plus, I would have the New Forumer role if that were the case, and it kinda seems odd that someone with 500+ is a New Forumer.
Maybe it's either post count and smaller time limit, or a bigger time limit? Like a 100+ and 2 months or 6 months?

Support! I think that you should need 100+ posts and be active on the forums for 1 month to be Forumer.

3 then. 3 would suffice.

Support. Forum Experience =/= Project Making Experience.
I am way more active on the forums than with making projects. Which is why I have multiple second parts to stuff in the works.

The real question here is whether or not the forums are separate enough from the main site to warrant a different ranking system. The Scratch wiki has different ranks from the main site because its use as an informational website where the quality of content is important is very different from the main website, where anyone should be able to share projects. I think most would agree that the forums are much closer to the main site than the wiki, and this suggestion reflects that; the ranks in the wiki are much more strict than the ones proposed by this suggestion and you have to go through a manual approval process to even participate.

I do think that having an separate ranking system might be beneficial for the forums. The discussions here are generally more serious than content found on the main website and low-quality “spam” is a much more visible problem due to the more centralized structure of the forums. I also feel that the quality of content is more important on the forums than on the main site. For example, if you can’t come up with a good solution on Help With Scripts or effectively justify your position (especially from experience) on an issue in Suggestions, you’re being mostly counterproductive. This isn’t a big problem on the main website because you can simply move on if a project isn’t what you’re looking for (again, due to the main site being less centralized) and comments don’t carry as much weight as forum posts.

Would this particular suggestion fix these issues? Probably not, but other solutions don’t seem very “Scratch-like.” Voting on posts is likely out of the question, as is being able to give a limited number of awards (per day or week, perhaps) to posts. A reputation system might work (where you can up vote a user similarly to following someone on the main site), but that could turn into a pointless popularity contest.

Good point. Maybe a rep system wouldn’t be publicly visible?

Ah well, no support.

People should be able to prove that they can even behave themselves on the main site.

Infrequently active.

It feels weird to see how far we've come. I hope you're well, wherever you are!

How would it influence posts then? Would users with higher rep be able to post more often (which I haven’t found to be a real limitation)? Perhaps suggestions with most posts from higher rep users would be higher priority for the ST?
