Okay, i just thought of something that made me fangirl for hours. What if the line ‘an oath to keep with a final breath’ meant wedding vows?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!????!!!!!!!

The prophecy said “To fire or storm the world must fall.” It didn't say that fire or storm will die. I think that means that either fire (Leo Valdez) or storm (Jason Grace and/or Percy Jackson) will ultimately defeat Gaea.

okay, so it didn't. but you like piper right? didn't she explain that earlier? plus what about the other two facts in there? and the next line of the prophecy. no one knows what will happen. my guess is as good as yours but I know what I believe and im sticking by it!

Leo is really cool , and it would be sad if he dies, but I like Jason more and I would die if he dies.

Yeah, that does make sense. I've never thought about it that way.
And maybe his “final breath” will be his final mortal breath before he becomes an immortal god. That would totally make sense!

So if he becomes a god right before he dies, it could be like how Thalia got turned into a tree by Zeus as she was dying so that she wouldn't die, but since they did so much awesome heroic stuff the gods turn them into other gods (or other immortal beings) instead of trees!

I think that Percy and Jason are going to defeat Gaea in… maybe the ninth book? Oh, and the Kane Chronicles turns out to be in the same world.

I got the new book, and I also have this nasty habit of reading the last pages of the book before actually started reading it, so I know who dies. but I won`t tell it and spoil it for you.

Who wants spoilers? If you don't, don't read any more than what you just fished reading. If you do, here they are. Leo does die defeating Gaea but since he has the physicians cure and he is on Festus, he is saved because Festus injects the physicians cure into him. Then he goes and gets Calypso. But, Festus is really beat up so in result, Leo takes him i would guess back to Camp Half-Blood and fixes him there. The book doesn't tell you where Leo takes Festus to fix him. It just says that he has to fix him. Then that is the end of the Blood of Olympus.
