Space Platformer RPG (MKII): The Official Guide to Carnage... IN SPACE!!!!

This is the official guide for SPACE PLATFORMER RPG (MKII). As that gets put together, this guide will, too.

Controls
If you haven't played the game yet or just need a refresher…
-Arrow keys: Move and Jump
-Mouse: Click and drag to look a limited distance away from your character. This lets you see any obstacles you'd have to navigate or items to collect before you actually get there. I'm surprised nobody else has tried putting it in their projects yet!
Z and X (WORK IN PROGRESS): Pressing either of these keys will use whatever you tied to that key, be it a tool, item, or something among those lines. If there isn't anything bound to the key you press, or if the item there can't be used, pressing the key will preform a melee attack.

Navigating the World (WORK IN PROGRESS)
There are many ways to travel the world. Yes, you can run and jump, but the characters at your disposal are more capable than that, being able to climb, hang, and even fly (given the right circumstances). Below is a list of the various general maneuvers your team can do.

-Crunch Climb: Scale walls as if they were ladders. Dash toward a wall and keep the respective button held down to climb the wall. You can't do this if gravity is over sixty percent (or below ten percent), or on certain kinds of walls.
-Ledge Hang: Hold onto a ledge. Press the up arrow key to pull yourself up the ledge, press down to let go and fall off. You can also aim certain gadgets while hanging from a ledge. This is impossible if gravity is less than ten percent, or with characters with no arms (like the Wither).
-Double Jump: Pressing the up arrow key while already in midair will let you jump one more time for an extra boost (there is no triple-jumping, so be careful.)
-Fly: while in midair, pressing any key will speed you in that direction. Any character can fly in gravity less than ten percent, but only certain characters can fly in any greater gravity levels, and even then it will prove tiresome and the character will slowly flutter down after a bit.
Hover: After characters have exhausted their double jump or flight capabilities, they can continue to hold the up key to slow their fall. This doesn't work in gravity levels greater than seventy-five percent.

Sectors: There are eight sectors to charge through, each with their own unique features:

Sector 0- The Hub: It's The CraZcat's space station, and where the team sets up base. You can get to anywhere else from here (if you've unlocked it), get tips and strategies from your fellow teammates, play one of the tutorial levels, and there are a couple other little things to look at too.

Sector 1- The Outer Rim: This is the thin border around Metrixcat's territories and ultimately around his space castle itself. Metrixcat has some space stations here to bash, and there's rumored to be some treasure in the surrounding asteroids. Nothing special here; low gravity, lack of air, pretty much a normal environment for the depths of space.

Sector 2- The Asteroid Rings: Just inside shell of what is Metrixcat's territory is a thick cloud of asteroids. While space stations are few, this is a strategic location to set up defenses and traps to keep intruders out. And Voliyetra waits here for the opportune moment to get the drop on the team…

Sector 3- Nightmare's Realm: An outpost in the astral realm where the dreaded Nightmare Shadow has set up her lair. It's a crazy, unstable world that looked like it came from the depths of a dream (because it DID come from the depths of a dream). Lack of air is not a problem here, but there are lots of other exotic surprises that stand in your way.

Sector 4- Metrixcatial Orbit: Approaching Metrixcat's space castle yet more, it's becoming much more dangerous due to the tight security Metrixcat has set here. Top henchman MagaNOR patrols the belt, and this is the site of your first direct battle with the big boss himself. There's no way to deny the fact that the encounter will end horribly, though…

Sector 5: ??????: A maze of dangerous obstacles and mind-breaking challenges. Exactly what or where it is will remain a secret for another time, for describing it more specifically will spoil a critical plot point.

Sector 6- Metrixcat's Space Castle: This is where it all comes together…. Or falls apart at the seams!

Sector 7: Castle Ruins: What remains of the castle after the team is through with it. Return here to face a great challenge: 100 nonstop levels of eternal destruction and hardship. A truly horrible monster waits in the core…

Health and Nova
Health and Nova are the two things that make sure you're not swimming up danger creek without a paddle. Health is constant throughout the game at four points (two if you play as ShatterGem (COMING SOON)) while you can upgrade your Nova to a maximum of twelve points, allowing you to take a grand total of sixteen hits. If you take damage, you will lose Nova points, or heath if you do not have any Nova left. Even though they sound like they're the same, do not treat Nova as health! Attacks treat Nova differently than they do health, and may even ignore Nova altogether and damage your health! (Not to mention that they aren't restored with the same items.) Running out of health is always bad, and running out of Nova will reduce your ability to defend against the enemies ahead. Make sure you keep both your health and your Nova in good shape!
By the way, most bosses (and some late-game enemies) have access to Nova as well as their health. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Retry Disks
These are essentially the game's version of lives. Retry Disks determine how many times you can try a level before things get from bad to worse. Every time you get defeated, you can forfeit a disk to return to the last checkpoint (or the beginning of the level). Lose all of your disks, and fall, then Metrixcat wins and you'll be sent back to the hub (or, if you can't go there, to another haven you've uncovered) . If you fail special missions, or get defeated by certain high-end bosses, then that too will send you home even if you had any retry disks to spare. Don't worry, you can always go back for more after you've been sent back to the base, you'll just lose any progress you've had in the level you were defeated in. One last thing: If you get defeated anywhere in Metrixcat's Space Castle, you will have to do that sector all over again! So look out for that.

The Ins and Outs of Platforming in Space!
Unless you've never experienced outer space in any situation either real or imaginary before, you probably know that working in the depths of nothingness is a lot different than back in home territory (maybe not for those such as myself who spend a lot of our time out here, but still. ) There are a lot of things you need to look after out here that you normally would not have to deal with.

Gravity
What makes you jump lower the more of it there is and jump higher the less? Gravity. Unlike in most other games you may have seen, gravity is not a fixed component in this game- you naturally find the level fluctuate from situation to situation. Sometimes it's reasonable, other times…. not. This is an important thing to keep track of if you want to accurately judge if you can get on that ledge or not. as you might need specific amounts of it for some tactics.

Oxygen
There's no air out here in space, and unless you can live for a very long time without air, that's going to be a problem. The health of organic characters will drain in the vacuum of space until none is left unless you have a space suit and oxygen tank, and even then those blasted tanks don't last forever! Only robotic, undead, or glass-based characters can last this environment without a space suit.

Combat (WORK IN PROGRESS)
You're not always going to get tasks done in peace; sometimes you will have to fight off the enemies that attack you. This is especially true when you're up against Metrixcat, who never lets his opponents get things done without a full-scale war. Learning to protect yourself against his horde and constantly expanding your arsenal of weapons is vital if you're to survive his onslaught.

Special Missions (COMING SOON)
Thought completing a level was as easy as getting from point A to point B? (BUZZER SOUNDS) The truth is, it's never that easy in this game. Here is a small sample of the kinds of challenges you'll face besides the basic platforming.
-Ravaging Run
When you're running from a death trap-style machine, it's called a Ravaging Run. These enemies are even scarier than Slenderman, Herobrine, and Nightmare Moon (just to name a few). Try to stay away from those lethal attacks, and you should be okay.
-Timed
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Pretty self-explanatory.
-Bosses (Machine Boss, Henchman Boss, Fantasy Boss)
Ah, the good old boss battles! There are three kinds.
-CopyEye Chaos (UNCONFIRMED)
A whole LOT of CopyEyes are in the level. This isn't a normal special mission- It appears on random levels at random times, and only after you've gotten so far.
-Metrixcatical
Metrixcatical. Adjective. 1: Outright impossible. 2. Unbelievably hard. Synonyms: Hardcore, Impossible. Antonyms: Doable, possible. easy. -The CraZcat's Dictionary of Improbable Words
The levels are the hardest ever, AND NOBODY CAN SAY OTHERWISE WITHOUT LYING!!! Famed superheroes like Mario, Sonic, or Kirby can't even last ten steps in these dastardly missions (tested and confirmed), piloted by the even harsher Metrixcat. So that leaves the question: Can you?

The Characters
It takes a whole team of heroes to fight Metrixcat. Fortunately for you, you have a bunch to work with!

-The CraZcat
The CraZcat: I hope you weren't in the middle of something, because we have a malicious black cat in a robot suit to stop!
The awesome robot cat making this guide for you right now, The CraZcat is the most flexible of the team, able to be upgraded to improve stats. The robot cat might not be the fastest and The CraZcat's certainly not the lightest, but the robot cat's strong and surprisingly acrobatic!
The CraZcat is a good choice when you're expecting a fight. This crazy robot cat isn't as good at fighting enemies or maneuvering around complicated obstacles as the others, but the contraption's phenomenal defense is what allows The CraZcat to shrug off what may be damaging blows to other characters.
–Format: Combat-based
—Attack level: 2/5
—Defense level: 5/5
—Technique: 3/5
—Mobility: 2/5
–Special: Robotic, Fairy Power
–To unlock: Available at the start of the game.

-Princess Celestia (COMING SOON)
Celestia: To be honest, I never thought I'd be out in space fighting robots with a mechanical cat.
ShatterGem: You'll get used to it. At least, in theory.
Normally you'd never see the lead princess of Equestria in a space suit fighting robots, but an alicorn's got to do what an alicorn's got to do. She's an all-around, great at everything character, making her good in a wide variety of situations.
Celestia is well rounded in all fields, and while she's not the best in any particular field, she still isn't the worst. She's a good pony to play as when you don't know what to expect in the next challenge.
–Format: All-around
—Attack level: 3/5
—Defense level: 3/5
—Technique: 2/5
—Mobility: 4/5
–Special: Flight, Vaporizer
–To unlock: Available at the start of the game.

-ShatterGem (COMING SOON)
ShatterGem: Ha! Your silly lasers can't hurt a glass pony like me!
This alicorn foal has been cursed to forever be made of glass. By who? Metrixcat! She can't take the heat like her allies, but she's light and well-suited for the spacial environment.
ShatterGem is the first to fall in a combat situation, but her mobility and technique allow her to breeze through other sections of the level. Only the brave, foolhardy, or skilled would bring her to battle, but she's good for replaying levels and finding the goodies you missed.
–Format: Agile
—Attack level: 1/5
—Defense level: 1/5
—Technique: 5/5
—Mobility: 5/5
–Special: Flight, Made of Glass
–To unlock: complete the second level.

-Voliyetra (COMING SOON)
Voliyetra: This beautiful angel CraZcat is mine!
The CraZcat: Wrong. I belong to nobody! And nobody includes lovesick robot foxes like you!
Voliyetra; I am not…
The CraZcat: Prove it.
Voliyetra: Well… um… To start, I've… Nevermind.
If there's any crazy mechanical fox emotional enough to put her feelings before everything else, it's Voliyetra. Surprisingly hardcore despite her delicate nature, she outright dotes The Poor CraZcat, adding up to the biggest burden for the robot cat and a whole lot of madness for everyone else.
Voliyetra is another combat-oriented character. She is more agile than The CraZcat, but doesn't have the defense that the former has. She's good in battles against enemies with high defense and quick attacks.
–Format: Combat-based, Agile
—Attack level: 4/5
—Defense level: 3/5
—Technique: 4/5
—Mobility: 4/5
–Special: Robotic, Shield Breaker
–To unlock: Complete the third sector.

-Creeper (COMING SOON)
Creeper: Sssss?
The CraZcat: Yes. you can blow that one up.
SSSSSSSS!!! This is the famous one-liner from the infamous mob that sneaks up on its target just before it explodes. The game is short when playing with the creeper if you're not careful, but it packs a devastating punch to all around it.
The Creeper is infamous for blasting away enemies at the cost of its own health. It really doesn't live long in the heated clash against evil, but it is a valid way of forcing though difficult situations if you have the supplies needed to restore health and Nova as fast as the creeper spends it.
–Format: Combat-based
—Attack level: 10/5
—Defense level: 1/5
—Technique: 1/5
—Mobility: 1/5
–Special: High power, Explodes
–To unlock: Unlocked automatically with the Wither after a level in the second sector.

-Wither (COMING SOON)
The CraZcat: I guess three heads are better than one.
The big boss of The Nether, The Wither has come to take the nether star back from Metrixcat, who had stolen it. Powerful and agile, the Wither can wipe out all but the most resistant enemies.
As a minecrafter should probably have expected, The wither has great strength and mobility, but defenses are average and its techniques are minimal. Even so, it is still good at batting away enemies or enduring an attacking legion for an extensive period of time. It it does find itself between a rock and a hard place somehow, It can use its infamous wither shield to help it hold of enemies until it recovers.
–Format: Combat-based, Agile
—Attack level: 4/5
—Defense level: 3/5
—Technique: 1/5
—Mobility: 5/5
–Special: Undead, Flight, Tripled skull attack, Wither Shield
–To unlock: Unlocked automatically with the creeper after a level in the second sector.

-Tempest (COMING SOON)
Tempest: So I have to blast that space station over there to smithereens? Good! Demolition is my favorite part of the job.
Formerly a princess of a lost kingdom, Tempest has shifted gear into a mercenary who blasts her way through enemies with her two missile launchers.
Tempest's great power from the the combination of her high power and technique (you can use all the abilities she used against you as a boss, and then some). She is easily batted around, but as long as you can avoid the incoming enemy attacks, this won't be a problem.
–Format: Agile
—Attack level: 5/5
—Defense level: 1/5
—Technique: 5/5
—Mobility: 4/5
–Special: High power, Double Mad Rocket Minicannons, Infinite combo
–To unlock: Defeat her in battle after unlocking the fourth sector.

Queen Chrysalis (COMING SOON)
Queen Chrysalis: I thought I was preparing to invade Canterlot?
The CraZcat: Well, at least this scenario is better.
Celestia: That's something I can agree with.
Voliyetra: Great, another lass to keep my love away from me.
ShatterGem: Who cares about your dumb love affairs, Voliyetra?
Originally trying for revenge on Twilight Sparkle, Queen Chrysalis ended up being sucked into the intergalactic action by a misfired sneak attack from Metrixcat. She's balanced on all fields, but can transform both herself and her targets into anypony else.
Queen Chrysalis is another balanced character to mess with. Her defense struggles a little, but players that can dodge attacks well can go rather far with this character. She's arguably the most useful, as she can copy any other character's strengths and weaknesses (but not their abilities) when she needs to, making her an all-in-one character.
–Format: All-around
—Attack level: 3/5
—Defense Level: 2/5
—Technique: 4/5
—Mobility: 4/5
–Special: Flight, Transform
–To unlock: Playable in certain levels only until you complete a side-story.

-Metrixcat
MetrixMinion: You're not going to make a surprise attack?
Metrixcat. No. They've won this day, they should enjoy it. Besides, the day I finally defeat that blasted cannoli-craving cat, I'll be doing it fair and square.
Kudos to you if you can unlock the omniverse's scariest villain! With the ability to knock out enemies immediately with a quick blow, Metrixcat is the strongest piece on the chessboard. But underneath all that darkness and hatred inside lies a heart of gold, which may explain why he is respected as much as he is feared.
Metrixcat Is the last combat-based character you will likely obtain. His mobility and technique leave something to be desired, but his extreme power allows him to annihilate pretty much everything in a heartbeat. Metrixcat is especially useful against massive swarms, as his attacks generally have a large area of effect. Just don't overlook his minuscule defense…
–Format: Combat-based
—Attack level: 200/5
—Defense level: 1/5
—Technique: 1/5
—Mobility: 1/5
–Special: Robotic, High power, M.N.M.C.
–To unlock: Complete the final level.

-???????? (COMING SOON)
CraZcat: Just because you've managed to take us down… Doesn't mean you've won this battle, my good archmemesis. I have one more trump card to play.
CraZcat and Celestia (simultaneously): We've been saving this last trick just for you, Metrixcat.
By fusing one's body and mind with another's heart and soul, The CraZcat has come up with a backup plan if Metrixcat gets the better of the team. This character can only be described as omnipotent, having every strength and no weaknesses. She has a hidden ability, but what could it be?
–Format: Combat-Based
—Attack level: 3/5
—Defense level: 5/5
—Technique: 3/5
—Mobility: 4/5
–Special: Robotic, High Power, Vaporizer, Fairy Power, Flight, Shield Breaker, ????????????
–To unlock: Can only be played during the final battle or in the depths of the castle ruins unless all tokens have been collected.

Other Characters
A few other Characters that will come in to play a role.
-The Card Shark Changelings
When Queen Chrysalis ordered her forces to attack Canterlot some time ago, these two changelings were wasting their time playing cards. Fast-forward to more recently, They've come into the intergalactic team as strategists, helping predict Metrixcat's next move. They're really good at it, considering they have to consider all of the possible moves an opponent could play in a card game…. like they one they were wasting time with.
-(The Great and Powerful) Trixie
Trixie has been refining her skills on all fields in preparation for her next clash with Twilight. Part of this is making a lot of crazy gadgets- gadgets that just so happen to be the ones the team is using to press into Metrixcat's Space Castle. (Apparently she's just as good at making gadgets as she is at bragging about them.) You can count on her to give you something that will help you against the hordes- for a price, that is. She's also the one handing out tips and helping you out in the options menu (COMING SOON).
-Nightmare Shadow
Twilight Sparkle may have successfully removed the darkness from Princess Luna, but the conscience of Nightmare Moon was simply too strong to be erased with it. With the help of an external force (Metrixcat), she has returned as Nightmare Shadow. She may be devoid of a physical body (and she definitely has none of the courage she originally had), but she's back and more powerful than ever.
-MagaNOR
MagaNOR is Metrixcat's strongest henchman, and the most powerful force he has on hand overall besides himself. She remains loyal to her cunning partner on a fundamental level, partly because Metrixcat (unknowingly) saved her life. She dons an impossibly dense armor not only to hide her true identity to his partner (Even though the cat's smart enough to have figured it out already), but her true nature. She may seem hard and tough on the surface, but tear off the suit and you (literally) end up with a living doll.

Special Abilities (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Each character has their own little perks that make them different from every other character. Here's a list of them!
-Robotic
These characters are robots. (What did you expect?) They're more resistant to physical attacks, but weaker against lightning and fire. Also, they can go out in space without needing a space suit.
-Fairy Power
This ability allows the hero to preform Fairy powers, mighty finishers that unleash a lot of destruction. (You only have one at the start of the game, you will need to unlock the others yourself). There is only one character that can use this without a special item that grants it.
-Flight
This character can fly in gravity levels greater than ten percent. Not indefinitely though- they'll eventually tire out and hover back to the ground. Characters that don't have this ability can fly if they are equipped with special gear, or in gravity levels lower than ten percent.
-Vaporizer
A powerful finisher that vaporizes (obviously!) all enemies around you. Characters that want to use this finisher but don't have the ability will need a special tool that activates it, as well as ammunition for doing so.
-Made of Glass
This character is made of glass. They only have two health, but they're immune to light and energy-based attacks, while weak against physical. They also can brave outer space without a space suit. Only ShatterGem has this ability.
Those immunities are going to be especially useful against a boss that will appear later down the line.
-Shield Breaker
Enables the character to use a powerful finisher that can break though guards and blocks. An item replicates this ability for those who do not have it.
-High Power
this ability makes standard attacks a lot more powerful.
-Explodes
Replaces the melee attack with an explosion attack- this deals more damage, but you take damage every time you use it.
-Undead
These characters are weak against light, strong against dark, and restorative items harm them (you will have to find other ways of healing this character). They also don't need the air a space suit provides. The Wither is the only undead character in your arsenal.
-Tripled Skull Attack
The character fires three wither skulls instead of using a melee attack.
-Wither Shield
One of The Wither's signature abilities, this shield doesn't activate until either your health or Nova are at half. it hurts your attack strength and mobility a touch, but it halves all incoming damage until you recover. If you want to incorporate this ability into any of the other characters, you will need to find a rare and hard-to-get item.
-Double Mad Rocket Minicannons
Uses two of these powerful tools instead of a melee attack. If you wield a Mad Rocket Minicannon with a character with this ability, you can use THREE of them at once!
-Infinite Combo
A character with this ability never uses a basic finisher- they will be disabled. Instead, the character attacks faster and deals more damage as the combo rages on. Certain items grant this.
-Transform
A character with this ability can either turn themselves into another character in your arsenal for a limited time, or transform your enemies into other enemies in a finisher. The Ponifier and its upgrade, the Mareatizer have a limited version of this effect.
-M.N.M.C
This ability allows a character to wield the outright apocalyptic Metrixtech Nuclear Machine Cannon instead of melee attacks and as a finisher. This mighty device deals a horrifically large amount of damage to bosses and one-shots everything else. Only the demonic Metrixcat can utilize this portable doomsday device.

Enemy Index
A list of Metrixcat's different minions.

V1 Standard (WORK IN PROGRESS)
The base of all of the other Metrixsoldier models, the V1 standard is balanced on all stats. Standard units are the middle ground of the series, effective in situations that don't require a specialized model.
Health: 2
Attacks: Punch (Physical, 1) Static Claw (Electric, 1)

SpiderBomb (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Spiderbombs are bombs with legs… Literally. Not to mention their claws and laser gun.
Health: 1
Attacks: Explode (Fire, 2), Claws (Physical, 1), Laser (Light, 1)
Special: Uses different tactics in large groups

Alicommando (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Metrixcat: What do you think of my new unnamed creations?
The CraZcat: What in the name of cannolis are these things? Alicommandos?
Metrixcat: Actually, that's a perfect name for these diabolical devices! I'll use that.
Formidable robots made with an alicorn in mind. They will charge at you, blast at you with bombs, bullets, and fire, and they use magic! How scary is that?
Health: 8
Attacks: Charge (Physical, 1), Bombs (Fire, 2), Flamethrower (Fire, 1), Railgun (Physical, 1)
Special: Can use magic to fling small objects and enemies nearby (damage varies depending on what is thrown)

V1 Pyro (COMING SOON)
This specialized unit uses a flamethrower to attack. It's not as fast as some of the other units, but has increased defense.
Health: 3
Attacks: Flamethrower (Fire, 1)

V1 Engineer (COMING SOON)
Engineers are not the best at attacking, but they can build sentries and repair other kinds of units.
Health: 2
Attacks: Punch (Physical, 1) Build Turret (Special) Repair (Heal, 1)

V1 Turret (COMING SOON)
Sentries that fire upon the attacker from a distance. They can be perched in defensive locations, or be built by engineers.
Health: 4
Attacks: Laser (Light, 1)

CopyEye (UNCONFIRMED)
Shadowy eyes wrought into existence by the ghostly Nightmare Shadow. They look at their subject for a while, copying game data right down to the amount of air you have. If they finish the scan, they will create a shadow version of that entity. Beware, for the stronger you are, the more powerful they can potentially be! If you want to remove data from their networks, simply knock them out (while they're still in their true form) and the CopyEye will surrender the piece of information it had. (You will need to take out several to clear out all of the data, the exact amount depending on how much information they have analyzed.)
Health: 1 (True Form)
Nova: 0 (True Form)
Attacks: Copy (Dark, True Form), Shapeshift (Dark, Any Form) ??? (Comes from analyzed characters)
Bosses (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Bosses are a lot more complicated than you would think. Thus, with each boss panel is some strategies to help you out.

-Alicommando
The first Alicommando you see appears as a miniboss. You will also see another battle later on with a few of them battling you at the same time.
Stats: See above.
Strategy: In either situation, This enemy prefers to fly over you at first so it would be difficult to hit it with regular attacks. Close in on it by jumping on the crates it lifts as it prepares its magic attack and you can get in a hit or two. After a couple blows, It will sink to the ground and use its flamethrower and railgun attacks. You won't be able to attack it head on while it uses these attacks, so jump over and get behind it to hit it safely. When it's health gets low, it will alternate between flying and attacking on the ground while using all of its attacks, except it will be using its abilities more creatively now so it will be more difficult to hit. It should only take a hit or two from here to finish the boss off.

Daddy Long Arms (COMING SOON)
Your first battle with Metrixcat is while he's piloting this dastardly machine.
Stats:
-Health: 8 (Core)
-Nova: 8 (Each Arm)
Attack: 3/5
Defense: 3/5
Strategy: Metrixcat will make the boss strafe the battlefield while the four giant arms on it swat or fire lasers at you. You will need to destroy all four arms completely to attack the core. After you have destroyed a part of one arm, the boss will start to fire either time bombs or mines behind it- This, along with the machine's speed, gets faster as you deal more damage to the arms. Once you destroy all four arms, Metrixcat will try to finish you off quickly with nuclear blasts- These attacks deal colossal damage, so you will need to be especially careful as you take the rest of the contraption down.

-Tempest (COMING SOON)
You first encounter this character is when she's a boss.
Stats: See respective character's section.
Strategy: Tempest attacks indefinitely while swiftly moving around the battlefield. This combo can only be broken if you block an attack, and even then she will be vulnerable for but a second- This is your only opportunity to land hits. As her health gets lower she will add new components to her attack pattern until she is close to being defeated. As long as you can master avoiding each different attack she throws at you and can counter her combos fairly well, it shouldn't be too hard to take Tempest down. Try bringing Tempest to this level after you've unlocked her; you'll instead face a secret boss.

-Dark Tower Golem (COMING SOON)
The Ur-Ghast has inserted itself into the dark tower, which itself transformed into a GIANT robot. It should be easy to say that the boss is as challenging to beat as it is huge, so it might be a good idea to skip the battle and come back to it later on if it gives you trouble. It still needs to be done before you can enter the final level, but besides that you can begin the battle whenever you're ready.
Stats:
Health: 8
Nova: 48
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 5/5
Strategy: the Ur-Ghast's main attack is to hammer its arms onto the platform in an attempt to crush you. The arms are the only parts of this behemoth that come close to you, so you will have to dodge the attack and its resulting shockwave if you're ever going to deal any damage. After you've done a little, The turrets on the monstrosity's shoulders will begin to scatter projectiles all over the battlefield, and the fiend will also trigger dozens of missiles to rain down on you. Dodge these attacks too often or deal too much damage, and The Ur-ghast will throw a tantrum, attacking more aggressively and attempting to throw you high into the air, where he will shoot missiles and triple fireballs at you. Dodge the attacks as you fall back to the ground, and you will be presented an opportunity to deal critical damage to the Ur-Ghast as he calms down. As you deal more damage to the boss, it will attack more aggressively, stay in tantrums longer until the point the boss is always in tantrum mode, and will eventually jump high into the air and onto the platform, stomping around trying to squish you.

-Phazer (UNCONFIRMED)
A big and speedy lunatic that is obsessed with laser guns. Good luck beating this monster… unless you can come up with a way to find and exploit his one weakness.
Stats:
Health: 8
Nova: 24
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 3/5
Strategy: Phazer fires an endless stream of lasers in no particular pattern at all that simply can't be overcome…. Unless you play as ShatterGem. While normally a terrible choice for combat, ShatterGem is immune to laser attacks and therefore Phazer is helpless against her. Have fun punching this sandbag around. You'll receive a token for using this elaborate technique, but you'll get a different valuable reward if you do somehow beat the boss with any other character.

Nightmare Shadow (COMING SOON)
She wasn't completely destroyed when Twilight converted her back to Princess Luna- Metrixcat has managed to get his claw and doomsday device-prints all over what remains of Nightmare Moon's dark will, and he has somehow used it to resurrect Nightmare Moon. Now, as a horrific, ghostly image, she has come to get her revenge, and to start it all off, she's going to plunge Celestia into a horrible nightmare…
Stats:
Health: 8
Nova: 24
Attack: ???
Defense: ???
Strategy: Immediately after the battle begins, Nightmare Shadow will pull you into a nightmare. In this nightmare, there are many different challenges you might face; Avoiding the phantom's attacks in an obstacle course, facing a large array of powerful enemies, or overcoming portions of other bosses. You can't harm the ghost while trapped in the nightmare; you will have to escape first. Once you clear the challenge, you will either move on to the next nightmare in the chain (if you aren't yet close to escaping), or leave the nightmare realm. While free, you can go for and attack the boss, but she will throw all kinds of attacks at you in a hit-and-run strategy; they don't deal any damage, but will plunge you back into the nightmare. After you've done a significant amount of damage to her or spent long enough time, she will force you back into the nightmare and you will have to clear the challenges again. as Nightmare Shadow takes damage, the nightmares will become longer and stronger, and after half damage, Nightmare Shadow will move to the cowardly side, focusing on avoiding your attacks and forcing you back into the nightmare as quickly as she can. Whenever she pulls you in at this stage, she will drain a tiny part of your health for her use. Right before you defeat her, she will force you into a rather different nightmare- a full redo of the rest of that sector (albeit more difficult), including a ‘fake Nightmare Shadow’ boss that must be defeated. This fake nightmare shadow has all the capabilities of the original but is slightly weaker. After she is ‘defeated’, you face one last challenge. This determines whether you will get to the actual Nightmare Shadow and finish her off, or have to do this tedious level once again. This boss marks the halfway point of the entire game.

MagaNOR (COMING SOON)
The strongest entity Metrixcat has in his team besides himself. She's versatile, being just as good at hacking and slashing as she is at spellcasting and in general blasting enemies from a distance.
Health: 8
Nova: 48
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 5/5 (First Battle) 1/5 (Second and Third Battles)
Strategy: MagaNOR has two different tactics: In the first battle, while she has armor, she will move slowly, but really hurt you if you get anywhere near her. She will also reflect any ranged attacks you try to throw at her, so you will have to fight her hand-to-hand in a hit-and-run strategy, preferably with a fast character to minimize damage. Defeating her once will shatter her armor, and she will begin keeping her distance, flinging extra-long range attacks and charging past you to deal weak but disturbingly precise swipes. Counter her when she closes in, and you will have an opportunity to deal critical damage before she gets back on her feet. Defeat her a second time, and she will blend her two approaches, combining every strength and removing every weakness, not to mention acting a lot faster this time. You will have to stand your ground and prepare to block and counter every last attack she throws at you in order to spare yourself a moment that you can use to retaliate. You will fight her again in Metrixcat's Space Castle, before you reach the semifinal and final battles.

Alicommando The Prime (COMING SOON):
The leader of its respective robots.
Health: 8
Nova: 48
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 5/5
Strategy: Alicommando The Prime is basically a souped up version of the normal miniboss. But this battle isn't quite that simple. This upgraded boss is always alternating between flying and attacking on the ground, and it has several new attacks- from summoning meteors to dropping bombs, from charging at full throttle to summoning regular Alicommandos for support, this will in no way be like the original battle. The basic strategy is the same- jumping to it while its flying or attacking behind it when it's on the ground- but keep in mind that this model has covered its weaknesses, so don't expect this battle to go so easily.

Metrixcat (First Battle)
The first head-to-head battle against the big boss himself. He's going easy on you, but this will still be a very challenging battle.
Health: 8
Nova: 48
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 5/5
Strategy: Metrixcat is restraining himself for his first fight, so you won't have to deal with his portable doomsday device… yet. Metrixcat won't be attacking often at first but he delivers a heavy payload with the attacks he does make. Throw everything you have at him, but watch you back as he will deliverer a devastating counterattack if you get too confident. as the battle progresses he will speed up, throw new attacks in, and move closer to the aggressive side. Hold firm and put in everything you have, and you may actually win… or will you?

Shattered Will (COMING SOON)
A tortured, gloomy figure. Defeating this monster is a challenge that will really test your skills.
Health: 7 (Spinner), 8 (Shattered Will)
Nova: 42 (Spinner), 48 (Shattered Will)
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 5/5
At first, Shattered Will hides in a spinner in the background with a big red button in the center of the battlefield. Attacking this button will stop the spinner. There are seven categories on the spinner, and with each of them six specific outcomes- that's 42 possible outcomes! Out of these 42, the boss will pull out six boss battles: a trio of Alicommandos, Tempest, Daddy Long Arms, Nightmare Shadow, MagaNOR, and Alicommando The Prime. You must hunt down all six bosses for the next part. With all six bosses defeated, the center category will now look like a big X. Select this category, then another. Whichever attack the boss rolls will be deleted- If all the data in a category is deleted, that category is no more. You'll have do do this thirty-six times, once for every attack- thus clearing every category and destroying the spinner. Then, the real battle begins! Shattered Will will speed all around the battle. Counterattack the moment you get a chance, and you will be presented an opportunity to deal major damage, much like you did with Tempest and MagaNOR. Watch out, because this boss will be using many of the moves and techniques that the six bosses it copied had used, from summoning meteors like Alicommando The Prime, scattering missiles all around like Tempest, or plunging you into a nightmare like Nightmare Shadow! A similar boss will appear in Metrixcat's Space Castle, with different moves and spinner outcomes but using the same tactics.

The Subroutine (COMING SOON)
Sector five's security system. It has been watching you for this entire visit and is now ready to try and stop you!
Health: 8
Nova: 16
Attack: ???
Defense: ???
Strategy: This is not a physical boss battle but a cerebral one. The Subroutine has trapped you in a maze with you at the beginning and The Subroutine's mainframe at the end. You must solve a colossal gauntlet of puzzles and reprogram the boss's CPU at the end to win the battle. The Subroutine counters you by sending you down longer paths, placing generic obstacles in the way, and in general making it much more difficult to proceed. Solve the maze one challenge at a time, and you'll eventually make it to the end. Here, you have to hit The Subroutine's Program Cores to reprogram them. Reprogramming all of the cores while navigating the last several obstructions The Subroutine has left is the last challenge in this battle.

Secret Bosses (COMING SOON)
Sometimes a hidden foe will wait in an unknown location for you to find it. Others will roam the world, and still others will just try to hunt you down. There are a lot of hidden bosses in the game, but where, how, and when you fight them all vary.

Shadow Characters
Ominous figures that are born from the extreme darkness of a soul. They are corrupted effigies the being they came from, and their powers are proportional to how much suffering their true counterpart is under. Some shadow characters will closely match the abilities of their counterpart, others are completely different.

-Shadow CraZcat
The first Shadow resembles the hardcore cat of metal. It doesn't account the details that made The CraZcat the mysterious fellow it is, so it ends up as a much more feminine take of the real deal.
To find:
It waits for you in the depths of the castle ruins. If you can't defeat it there, it will hunt you down and force you to fight it as many times as it takes. Don't you dare think you can outrun this hateful monster…
Stats
Health: 8
Nova: 144 (recharging)
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 5/5
Strategy: Shadow CraZcat is a formidable foe; not just because the shadow has all of the real cat's powers and more, but that it will fire them all at you with astonishing speed. It also must be noted that the shadow has a whopping 144 Nova, three times the 48 that most bosses (including the final boss) have. It will attack you nonstop with so many different powerful moves that you have little chance of surviving any longer than thirty seconds. If you can hold firm, look for an opening, strike as hard and as fast as you can muster, but beware for it will retaliate if you get too cocky. You have to get in as much damage as possible in that one moment, because it will constantly be healing itself if its health or Nova is anywhere below maximum. Watch out, this is the hardest of the three superbosses in the game!

-Shadow Celestia
The next shadow is an awfully sinister version of our good Princess Celestia. But don't think that this monster will let you win easily just because of that!
To Find: She waits somewhere in the nightmare realm, in a location only accessible after clearing sector four. If you find but can't defeat her, she will roam the world until you do overcome this specter. If an ominous fog closes in, she may be close. then again, maybe not.
Stats:
Health: 8
Nova: 16
Attack: 5/5
Defense: 4/5
Strategy: This shadow is rather fond of dark magic. It will fire nasty spells at you from all directions while still staying out of your reach. If you have a gadget or some other attack that can cross this distance, you should have no problem attacking her. If not, then you're in quite a pickle because the boss would never dare to get close. Keep in mind though that the boss heals for every point of damage she does to you, so you either want to take the monster out quickly or dodge as many of her attacks as you can.

-Dark Metrixcat
A dark image of the heartless mastermind. Good news: He's against Metrixcat as much as we are. The bad news is that he's still hostile to us.
To find: This is what you face if you bring Metrixcat to the final level or to any of the other battles involving him. He only appears to that character- bring any other character, and you'll just play the level as normal.
Stats:
Health: 8
Nova: 8
Attack: 200/5
Defense: 1/5
Strategy: This is a unique battle, because for once both sides are equally powerful. Both Metrixcats can destroy the other in a heartbeat, so the only way you can best this shadow is if you can act fast and think faster. Dark Metrixcat is powerful for sure, but that only accounts to the fact that the battle will end the moment either Metrixcat makes a wrong move. So prepare yourself for the moment the battle starts, because this is not a test of strength but a test of skill!

Other Secret Bosses:
-Slenderman & Herobrine
Facing two scary characters at the same time? This will be good…
To Find: After clearing sector five, a note will appear somewhere in sector three. If you pick it up, you will now be in danger of being attacked by this nasty duo. An ominous mist will come in if the two are close, but keep in mind that fog is a warning sign for almost every secret boss you haven't yet defeated, so who knows if it will be these two or not? There's only one way to find out, isn't there…
Stats
Health: 8 (Slenderman) 0 (Herobrine)
Nova: 48 (Herobrine)
Attack: 5/5 (Slenderman) 4/5 (Herobrine)
Defense: 200/5 (Slenderman) 3/5 (Herobrine)
Strategy: Slenderman and Herobrine are equally dangerous, so which of the duo you should take out first is up to you. If you want to take Slenderman out first, you will need to collect all eight pages. Keep in mind that not only does Slenderman get more aggressive with every page you collect (Its what Slenderman does), but Herobrine will start to use more dangerous tactics in conjunction with this. If Herobrine is your first target, then you will have to hunt him down and knock him out. The consequence for taking this path is that this is the OTHER way Slenderman becomes more aggressive towards you. Slenderman will undoubtedly deal a truly colossal amount of damage to you if you let him get too close, and Herobrine will tear apart your health in an elaborate hit-and-run strategy. Once again, which of the two you defeat first is up to you, but it might be a good idea to go for the one you have the most trouble with first so he isn't bothering you while you best the other.
By the way, if you do somehow best the duo, you get an extra-special slender mini-game you can try out later in the hub.

Tokens (COMING SOON)
Tokens are valuable coins you can only get by accomplishing some very difficult challenges. Each token you collect earns you another missing piece of the true ending. If you can get them all…

-CraZcat Token
A token that is the polar opposite of what it seems to be.
To get: Prevent Metrixcat from initiating his master plan.

-Celestia Token
A somehow romantic token with hidden, unknown secrets.
To get: If Metrixcat turns the tables, what will you do?

-ShatterGem Token
A token that's as weak as glass, yet stronger than steel.
To get: Defeat the Dark Tower Golem with ShatterGem.

-Creeper Token
A token that would blow up in your face if you set it alight.
To get: The creeper must die with the same explosion that defeats a boss.

-Wither Token
A token that sucks the life out your fingers, only to give them more.
To get: Hit three powerful enemies with the same attack.

-Voliyetra Token
A token that is trying to trick you into falling for its obvious trap.
To get: Turn the tables and win against a secret boss.

-Chrysalis Token
A vile token, but inspires you to do the right thing.
To get: Complete Metrixcat's first battle with Queen Chrysalis.

Tempest Token
-A token that is always hungry for excitement and adventure.
To get: Bring her to her own battle, and defeat the secret boss that waits there.

-Metrixcat Token
A token that makes anyone that looks at it pass out with fear, but also inspires the beholder with the stuff of legend.
To Get: Play as Metrixcat and eliminate a hidden threat.

-PhazerPwner:
A token that has turned the tables.
To Get: Nullify Phazer's power by bringing forth the one immune to lasers (ShatterGem).

-Nightmare's End:
A token that wards off the greatest of nightmares.
-To get: Bash Nightmare Shadow a second time in her new lair.

-Annihilation Recreation:
A token that resembles untold power in the hands of the good.
To get: Assemble the Annihilator superweapon.

-The Dark Half:
This token resembles the darkness and gloom that hides within the light of day.
To get: Find all of the shadow characters, and defeat them. Beware, for they're some of the strongest bosses of the game!

-Good Night:
Sweet dreams, you crazy royal prankster.
To get: This is what happens when you dive too far into a dream with a specific character.

-Gadget Grabber:
A trophy worthy of your collection of crazy things.
To get: Acquire and fully upgrade every gadget in the game, plus at least one of everything else in your inventory.

-The Secret is Out:
…But you'll have to see it for yourself.
To get: Collect every other token then complete the final level with Celestia. The completed ending will yield you a surprise or two, along with this token.

Tips:
Bits of info that may help you out at some point or another. They'll show up when moving to different areas or if you're struggling with a level.
-“Don't use your gear to improve your strengths, use them to cover your weaknesses!”
-“Every character has their good and bad points. If you're stuck on a level, try doing it with a different character!”
-“Stronger gadgets generally have less ammo capacity. Use them wisely!”
-“ShatterGem isn't that great at combat, but she's good at hunting down collectibles and other goodies.”
-“The Creeper loses health every time it explodes, so try not to go overboard with it's attacks!”
-“Even the simplest of enemies are particularly smart. Memorize enemy tactics so you know when and how to defeat them!”
-“Don't worry too much if Metrixcat defeats you. You can always go back and try again when you feel you're ready.”
-“To get the Annihilator, you will need to find all of its blueprints scattered throughout the world.”
-“Queen Chrysalis can copy another character's stats but not their abilities.”
-“Wither armor will halve all incoming damage if you're not doing so well. The catch is that it will slow you down and reduce your attack strength during this time.”
-“Isn't it interesting how well CraZcat and Celestia do together?”
-“The only thing you lose when you lose a level is the progress you've made on that level.”

Well… That's all for now. Remember to check both this forum regularly for updates, as it is updated as such. Anyway, hope you find this guide useful (even though the game has been torn apart and is currently being remade), and as always, see you next post/project or so!

It will be. There are a lot of issues to iron out first (specifically the new terrain generator and the enemy scripting at the moment), but when I sort all that out, the project will probably look nothing like what it was before

That stands for Mark II ('II' is Roman Numeral 2). It references the fact that this is the second version of this project (the original fell apart and has been unshared).

WOW! Seem's like you have a lot planed for this game! Can't wait to see it!
wait (0) secs
I'll wait as long as it takes!
wait until <the game is done>

say [There is just so much planed and a Scratch game can only handle so little.]

How could you tell? Was it the ridiculously long post? Or did you actually read it all?

…Regardless, you don't actually have to wait all that long to see my project- It just doesn't have everything fitted in yet. If you want to see what I've implemented so far, all you need be doing is looking right HERE. As I said, It doesn't have everything yet, but hey- I'll plug things in as I go.
