UPDATE: blob8108 set up a working mirror of the forums. See it here

The old forums are down again, but I have a complete archive of them stored on my big external hard drive. Does anybody want any topics recovered? If so, please provide as much of the following information as you can.
-Subject
-Forum
-Topic ID
-Author

This archive contains every single topic that was on the old forums before the release of Scratch 2.0. When responding to a request for a topic, I will both add the link to the list at the bottom of this topic and post a link to it on your profile page if you didn't disable comments.

Try this link. I believe it is the right on.

The files are stored in this format:
Scratch Forum Archive -> *TOPIC ID* -> page-*page number*.html

Currently they appear without any CSS (it is a verbatim copy of what was on the site), but that can be applied manually.

Also, high five being named Jacob!

I wish Block Library would get revived, but there is no reason to mod, as there is a create blocks thing now.

About 700 MB compressed and 3 GB uncompressed, I think.

Unfortunately, I am having some disk problems right now. The archive is stored on my external hard drive, which is HFS+ (Mac OS Extended Journaled) formatted (my Windows computer was in for repairs while I was making the archive), and I can't find any software within my price range (i.e. free) that can read it. While my Linux installation can read it, I am currently having some issues with it.

If anybody knows of any free tools to read HFS drives on Windows, that would be nice.

Edit: I found one, HFSExplorer.

I have the files (and a script to add them on the v1 archive), but I'm still working on writing a script to add them to the v2 archive.

If you download and open the HTML file given on the website (the download link is at the bottom of the page), you will be able to see the text. The page won't look perfect, but you should be able to read everything.
