Pokémon Go is a virtual reality app made by Niantic, Nintendo, and Game Freak that brings Pokémon to the real world.
Safety guide:
-Look off of your phone once in a while so you don't get hurt.
-Do not go into areas where you're not supposed to be.
-Wear bright clothing at night.
-If anything seems suspicious, go to your nearest relative's house. If a relative isn't nearby, go to the nearest store or something. And tell the police.
-Don't play while driving or riding a bike.
-If you are young, bring a parent or guardian.
-If you are alone, tell your parents where you're going.
-Make sure you know your way home.
-Don't walk off to far.
-If it's getting late, go home.
-If you're in the car while playing, look up from your phone while on hilly roads to prevent being sick.
-Stay Safe and Catch ‘em all!
Discuss your recent catches, if the app was released in your country, etc.
Please do not discuss the incidents.

I don't know if this would be a necrobump, but …it's out? In the US at least, I got it but the servers are crammed right now.

Ah geez, I've had Pokemon Go since last night and I haven't even played it yet. I've tried, MANY times. If it happens to not crash when I log in, it gives me the message that it's having sever issues.

Server got up and running for me! Caught a Caterpie out in my backyard - there's a Sandshrew and a couple Nidorans nearby that I'm going to have to go after later

…wait, nope, it's all down again

THERE IS A PINSIR NEARBY BUT I CAN'T FIND IT HELP

I got the app…
And I tried it…
It worked for like 2 minutes…
And then it crashed. .-.

Anyway, today I got the game and I had 4 of my neighbors following me around chasing the Pokemon…
A few hours later, my dad got the game and I got him to take me and my sister to the park so we could go to FOUR Pokestops there and look at two of the Gyms. Both are dominated by red, although one is being attempted by yellow…

And I'm a level 2 looking to join blue.

EDIT: It helps to sign in with Google since the Pokemon login servers are messed up right now

hahah… i can confirm it's released in the US but i'm probably the only person who won't get it :'^)

It's been, like, four days since launch and literally almost everybody I know has this app. (It's out in Australia too, by the way.) It's one of the strongest-starting fads ever!
I think all of the excitement of it finally being a thing killed it for me to be honest. Just seems to be way too big for me to keep up with it. Plus from the few minutes I've played of it so far (I might play more later), it seems to be some weird cross between Ingress (which I just learned was by the same people behind this game) and Paper Toss with a Pokémon skin.

Well, my dad took me and my sister somewhere to play the game…again.

I got to level 5 and joined Team Mystic. I tried to train at some of the Mystic gyms, but my Pokemon are worse than the ones at the gym…

There's an Instinct gym in a park close to where I live that looks a little weak. I wish I could get it, but since it's not on my street or a street next to it, I can't.

I caught a Bellsprout in my neighborhood while hunting for Meowth. Bellsprout and Bulbasaur are my only grass types. I want more!

I've only got Bulbasaur.

All that I ever get in my neighborhood is Rattata or Pidgey. It gave me the chance to raise a decent Pidgeotto.
We drove more into the city and there were SOOOO many Pokestops…and more kinds of Pokemon too

I really want it, but
a) for some reason my tablet doesn't allow me to buy apps with in-app purchases because I ‘'need to update my payment method’' EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY THE IN-APP PURCHASES ;-; (EDIT BEFORE POSTING: now that I think about the app probably costs money too )
b) IT WON'T EVEN APPEAR WHEN I SEARCH IT IN THE APP STORE ;;-;;
c) I'm not even allowed outside on my own, so pretty much all I could do (apart from when I go out) is catch endless Magikarps in the toilet. (an idea I got from a comment on the trailer on YouTube XD)

a) The app doesn't cost money, your tablet is weird.
b) What OS does your tablet run?
c) You pretty much won't get any Pokemon. Yes, water-types spawn near lakes and rivers, but not in toilets. The game isn't smart enough to know where the toilet in your house is.

b) I have an iPad Air 2 which runs iOS 9.3.2 if that helps.
