I think it's interesting that the Japanese version of the third choice is “find a way to survive”, not “save the day” like the English version.

Yep, I unlocked all of the hacks and got all of the badges (including the color chip badges). That doesn't sound like a lot, but there are a TON of color chip badges to unlock by maxing out each set of color chips, plus there are badges for completing the low-hacks Eight's Palette and buying everything from the shop.I just 100% completed Side Order!Like, tou got all the hacks & such? Nice! I'm on my way to try and do that.
I think it's weird that there's no badge for unlocking all of the hacks…

If you collect the maximum amount of a single color chip in one run, three indicator lights turn on above that chip in the color chip collection. Color chips come in six main color groups, but each group contains three tones which each have slightly different colors, and each tone contains 2-6 individual color chips. Yep, the chips that are exactly the same color are part of the same tone, so maxing out all of the dark blue chips would give you the dark blue badge.
