Nice news: GP has been released as a public beta.
What is GP??? GP is a free, general-purpose blocks programming language (similar to MIT's Scratch) that is powerful yet easy to learn. It runs on most platforms, including laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, and web browsers.
Try out the new beta version of GP now!

Hey guys, I can tell you that one new type of blocks is comming to Explore in the next release!
But what type of blocks could that be? What shape will they have? We'll tell you soon!
Explore 3.5 will also get sub-categories. So you have a better overview of your blocks.

Attention - This is very important!
The Server for the Explore Store (v1.0.2) in Explore v3.4 and v3.4.1 will be shut down on October 31st 2014, because we will switch the Server in Explore v3.5.
Explore Update for Explore v3.3 and v3.3u1 will not work anyomore after August 8th 2014, because Explore 3.4 and 3.5 use a different Update method than Explore 3.3. This update method will be turned off On August 8th. It is suggested, that you Update Explore 3.3 before August 8th, but you can still use the Explore 3.4 installer to Update Explore after August 8th.

1 - Yes, “processor” reports the OS acrhitecture, not processor architecture. But why would you need that? Explore currently only works on Intelx86 and AMDx86_64/AMD64 (I'm not sure about IA64). Ok, can you maybe add a few more features to the (system {project directory v})
block? In order for example to find the language used out of the operating system. “processor” give incorrect readings from my CPU. It would be good if it would specify the clock frequency (GHz) and the number of cores. Also, the maximum RAM memory would be good to know.
2 - Yes, a clock speed reporter can be usefull. But in MHz,, not in GHz.
3 - I don't see why it's neccassry to know the computers maximum RAM, because 1): Windows can sometimes (depending on the Version of Windows)
only use 2 or 3 GB or the availble RAM, even if more is installed (f.e. 4 GB). 2): Explore runs inside the Squeak VM and can only use the RAM that allows the VM to use. 3): There is already a block for how much memory is availble for Explore.

You made a interpreter for a scripting language. Now it's correct. Actually, I made a programming language made in a programming language made with a programming language.
