That's the very first project of Scratching Fame, Scratching to the World. What we will be trying is to spread the word of the awesome creations which users have created to the rest of the people in the internet! It'll be pretty simple ~ Nothing which needs the Scratch Team approval! Just go ahead and follow these easy steps!

1 ~ Create a website using some website hoster. There are plenty around ~ Weebly, webs… Just use the one which you prefer! Only have in consider that you should be able to upload Scratch projects to it, so you need to have the code of the website.

2 ~ When everything is ready, start uploading projects which you like there! Just click “Share to”, copy the code and paste it in the website code.

3 ~ Wait for people to check out the projects, and be glad of helping Scratchers around!

4 ~ Only if you feel like doing it, become a supporter of Scratching Fame, the people who want to make less known Scratchers more known!



Side note for Scratching Fame supporters ~ You need to help solve problems which people have in this topic. It would be awesome if someone made a project explaining the visual steps on how to create the website where you can put Scratch projects.

Don't we have scratch for this very reason? Uploading to other sites for the sake of it is… odd. You might as well link to your scratch profile on your facebook or whatever so that people come and see stuff, not just 2-3 projects which they don't know where they're from and that will be considered below average and or ignored, because lets face it, scratch projects have a hard time competing with other online games.

Maybe it's just me who's missing the point…

Well, wouldn't it be great if there were some websites with Scratch projects which people like most there? It'd be like Newgrounds, armor games… All these websites which have great games in. That's your opinion though, I guess everybody can have his own.

I guess, but studios will only show that projects to actual Scratchers, and by making it in the way I explained would make people outside Scratch know about them.

This is a great idea! This way I can get all my friends to start using Scratch and looking at awesome projects!

Hi! I'd like to share my website making expertise!

To make a website with Scratch projects:

1. Get an account on Wix.com
2. Choose a website template on the templates page
3. Edit the text by double clicking on it, and the images by clicking to open their menu, and clicking “Change Style”.

To put Scratch projects on it:
4. Click “Add”
5. Click “Apps” or something like that
6. Click HTML to add it to your website
7. Get embed code from the project page on this website
8. Click the HTML box you added on your website, go to the settings, change it from “Website” to the other setting (I forget what it is, sorry!)
9. Paste the HTML code you got from the project page, and click “Update”
10. Publish your website
