Bring Back Magic Wand Tool

In Scratch 2.0, in the bitmap editor, there was a tool called the Magic Wand Tool. You can use this to trim photos. But it was removed in Scratch 3.0/3. The only way to use this now is Download Scratch 2.0/2–which not everyone can do–, upload a photo, use the magic wand tool, and upload that sprite, then upload the photo to Scratch 3.0/3 (the current version of Scratch). It was replaced with a thing where you could only cut out a square and not freeform shapes. So can we please add this?

Bring Back Magic Wand Tool

Full support, I used this back when it was a thing, it is inconvenient to use other software for it.

Support, it is very useful and Scratchers won't have to use third party websites for this, which we can't always trust, just like browser extensions. And I don't see any reason why they would remove such a useful feature …

Definite support for this one. I don't understand why smaller features like these weren't included in the 3.0 update. Some of them were really useful, and even timesaving.

I wasn't there to see the 2.0 era, so I have no idea how this was useful.

It makes image editing easier (isn't it obvious?)

in what ways (for me the bitmap editor is decent enough)

It lets you cut freeform shapes instead of squares of sprites (didn't you read the OP?)

Isn't the magic wand tool in other image editors a tool that allows you to “fill-select” colors, like the fill bucket but it selects instead?
(Freeform selecting would be called something like a lasso tool.)

In Scratch it is the magic wand tool

Support, although I barely used it in 2.0 I’d say I want it back, making editing a little easier. Say, why was it removed?

if i was in aladdin, my first wish would be to have infinite wishes, and use those infinite wishes for infinite wishes on each wish, rince and repeat
