It merely combines the mundane with the supernatural. That's all I'll reveal for now.
Therefore, I believe that Angel Hare is NOT analog HORROR, but rather DRAMA. As in exploring the emotional lives of characters. Rather than scaring them. Could this be a potential new kind of genre? Could live-action/animated dramas with analog found footage elements be the next big thing? What do you guys think? Let me know!

Same, although I haven't played the video game, but I might do so at some point. I read through your points and I mostly agree, but ARG's don't have to be scary or frightening, they can tell a story if they want to. Example: Cicada 3301 is more like a collection of puzzles telling a story, but it's still called an ARG due to having to connect the puzzle pieces together. I find Angel Hare to be a bit similar, but I do agree with you calling it “analog drama.” Maybe it could take its form in the future. But we will have to wait.

Plus if they were truly an analog horror they wouldn't be using Blender to animate, they would be emulating the art style and animation of the older educational cartoons of the past. Using Blender just makes me unable to suspend my disbelief.

i dont like how the glitch effects in it are CONSTANT
it's hard to watch because of that

also i hate people calling digital horror “analog horror” it's NOT THE SAME THING even if there are a lot of things in common
