alright ya'll so i know most of you put down something you'd be interested in doing for the newsletter when you filled out the interest form, which gave me some great ideas! below is the list of things that we could possibly do in the newsletter (we def don't have to do them all but they're all options). go ahead and take a look at it and then fill out this form to let me know what you'd be interested in doing and then i'll go ahead and assign people roles based on what you want to do! <3 let me know if you have questions

Hi, everyone! I'm Sienna (she/her), a Christian writer who loves typology and guide dogs. I'm also on the newspaper staff at my high school as a writer and graphic designer. Some random things about me are that I think breakfast is the best kind of food, Newsies is my favorite musical, and I adore Spiderman <3 I'm super excited to work with you all!

I would be happy to do any of them, but the ones that stood out to me were articles about christian news/topics and christian scratcher interviews- I also think it would be super cool to do a crossword/word search based on a Bible story of the month/week/however we do it lol ☁ I love journalism and have won a few awards for my writing, so I can write news stories and features (basically interviews turned into stories), and opinions pretty well, along with other miscellaneous writing styles. I'm also great with editing, so I can help out there if you need it <3 I love editing so much honestly ☁ I kind of explained this a little already, but basically I just want the opportunity to practice my journalism skills, so anything along those lines sounds really fun to me. ☁ I'm not the greatest at art or aesthetics. I can do graphic design pretty well (color palettes, fonts, whitespace, layout, etc), but Canva is not my strength. I'm willing to help out there, but it's definitely not my preference.

Hi!! I'm Ella! I do Musical Theater. I'm getting ready to do my play The Little Mermaid on May 1 and 2. I love dogs!! I have two, 1 beagle and 1 chihuahua. I'm homeschooled so I'm pretty flexible with everything! <3

I would like to do: bible verse/passage of the month/week/whatever, maybe christian artwork, maybe christian short stories, I would love to do christian q&a and faith advice column, maybe christian articles. ☁ I know a decent amount about theology (I am taking a theology, which is “the study of God”, class at school) & Christianity overall (& I also know a little bit of philosophy which will help with lots of hard questions), I am also pretty good at writing and drawing. ☁ do you have any examples of what you'd like to do?: maybe stories, comics, art work, or articles on saints ☁ I don't really have anything else to say. i'm not opposed to doing any of them, but my strengths most likely lay in devotionals, bible verse/passage of the -date we decide-, christian cover shoutouts, short stories, and q&a <3 ☁ devos - i like spending time studying scripture, and enjoy researching to get a better understanding of what the passages are about. cover shoutout - it would be fun to search and listen to some covers and give some well deserved recognition to talented singers or musicians <3 short stories - i love writing and this should be no different. incorporating a christian view in a story seems really fun to me and i'd love to give it a go! q&a - i love answering questions hehe, i'd love to do anything i can to inform people about our religion and answer any questions they may have! ☁ not really unfortunately :') my swc writing thread and contest entries for two of the swc sessions are provided below to give you an idea of my writing, but nothing in there is really christian based, and i have nothing to show you in everything else i'm interested in :') ☁ i'm really excited for this, and am willing to help out in any way possible to make this work <33

devotionals, recipes, or articles ☁ I have been writing and baking from a very young age ☁ clean eating is something I'm really interested in and it's something I'd love to share with other Christians! taking care of the bodies God gave us is really important so I can contribute yummy, healthy recipes. I see that a lot of people want to do devotionals, so maybe you could split it up into different types of devotionals (ex: morning, midday, night, etc.) I'm also a cradle Christian and know a lot about the faith and can contribute news, facts, and advice. ☁ this is such a cool idea! I can't wait to see this come to life.
