I think when written well, Albus is a good character that I enjoy reading.

The thing wrong with cursed child is that the way they portrayed the characters especially Harry doesn’t seem real according to the original books and the plot was (to say frankly) stupid(no offence). The plot didn’t make sense there were too many plot holes. Now there is this YouTuber movie flame a few years back he made a video called something like correcting cursed child and the way he changed it the book actually sounded good and believable. The most major plot hole aka thing that didn’t make sense was Voldemort having a literal cHiLd.

It's a play made by JK Rowling and Jack Thornton. I think they're doing a US tour, because my friend is going to see it in NYC.
