this isn’t really lost music, it’s more like lost… sound. i got into the simpsons recently, so finding this would be very cool.

when the simpsons season 6 was released on dvd, it came in this plastic box everyone hated because it didn’t resemble the previous ones and it had a terrible build quality. fox, being aware of this, made a website where people could order replacement cardboard boxes, and they also made a phone number to go with it - calling the number redirected you to homer simpson, who would try to determine whether the whole operation was a scam before just telling people to go to the website. according to what people have said, homer’s voice in this prerecorded message was likely not done by the typical homer voice actor, and was likely just some cheap voice actor they hired. but unfortunately, nobody seems to have uploaded a recording of what homer said, and the phone number is no longer in service.

i hope the recording gets found eventually, though, it sounds interesting. maybe i should try contacting fox and seeing if they have the recording somewhere.

There was this girl with glasses and a green beanie. she would go on some random adventures most of the time. A charecter in the show, an old lady, had a purse that was sentitent. I'm not sure if this is on netflix anymore either. one episode had to do with a mall, and tap dancing shoes.

Wait… I think it's Sarah and duck. Is it? Cause I know the girl has a green beanie, and the old lady (Scarf lady btw) does have a talking purse. But I think you misremembered the glasses if that's the case.

Also when you mean tap dancing shoes I think you mean this episode.

Folks I need help finding this rock song that I have been not able to find since 2021! I was listening to some foreign internet radio when this random song came out and since I liked it so much I instantly recorded it. It was only played ONCE, not twice or three times, ONCE. I have the worst auditory processing skills ever so the only lyrics I could make out are “there's a lady in the shadows” and “I call your name when i am walking in rain/reign” (?)
