Hey, guys! We're only a few days away from the start of Summer IIWC!
Right now, I'm gonna go over a few things before camp starts. You are each in charge of your own "cabin", which are multiple different studios. There is probably a thingy in your description that looks kinda like this
(camper username) 0 // (word goal)
Well, as you probably know if you've participated in any of the other camp sessions, the cabins are going against each other in a giant Word War. Each challenge you do and word you write goes towards your score and your cabin's score. (And yes, leaders get to participate in these challenges too)
Now, let's pretend that I was a camper for a minute. My camp score thingy on your cabin would look like this
@--Inky_Inspiration_ 0 // 10,000
The campers will give you updates on their word score. For instance, if I was a camper and I told my leader in the comments that I wrote 100 words, the left number of the score will change, not the right. The right number is their word goal (how many words they wanna write). Now, if they want to update their word goal, you change the number on the right. If I wanted to change my points to 100, it would look like this:
@--Inky_Inspiration 100 // 10,000
I will check on these everyday and update the word score on the main cabin.
Also, there are a few things that you need to have on your studio description: a list of your campers along with their word goals and scores (which should already be in the description) and the weekly challenge.
There are a few optional things, such as an about section, about the leaders, tasks that you give your campers, weekly questions, and weekly polls are optional.
The weekly challenge, the weekly question, and the weekly poll are going to be posted by me in the description of the main studio (which you will be invited to soon... once I make it xD). All you need to do is copy and paste these onto your studio description. The weekly challenge is a challenge that all writers can do for points, the weekly question is just a question that campers can answer in the comments of the main studio so they can get to know each other better, and the weekly poll is just for fun.
You aren't required to give your campers your own challenges, but you can if you want to. (I am... and I named mine "quests" since mine is fantasy themed... xD) If you wanna add anything else to your cabin description, go ahead! : )
If you want an example of how to do your description, look in my studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/6007041/comments/
If you have any questions, post them in the comments!
Also, feel free to talk with the other managers in the comments. xD
