-5 years after the events of the prologue-
The young woman strolled down the main street of the town. She looked to her partner and scoffed. "You don't need to walk like a turkey with no toes just because you need crutches. " she remarked.
He glared at her. "You were the one who made me crutches OUT OF STICKS, Sasha." Sasha rolled her eyes. "Not my fault you can't watch where your going, Jake! Seriously, even a half-blind jackrabbit could have seen that root!" jake looked at her, with that look. Sasha wasn't sure how she felt about it. "I love you." He whispered. Sasha shook her head. "your crazy." Jake frowned. "Seriously! I love your dark black hair, your stormy gray eyes, I love how you need to look up at me, and I know you love me!" Sasha would never say it, at least not until she fully accepted it, but she loved him. She loved how his short Auburn hair glowed in the sun, and how is bright green eyes always had a glint of mischief in them, and honestly, she didn't mind looking up at him. " I-We have a job to do. " jake frowned and shook his head. "Yep. Water and fire." Sasha glaerd at him. "Shutup!" Jake nodded. "Sorry." Sasha smiled. " There. " she pointed inconspicuously. "That's the man." It was an undeniably attractive young man, with black hair and a face with straight angles. " he's the one they assigned us to assassinate." Jake nodded. "Definitely." They walked towards him, and introduced themselves. " I'm Sarah, and this is jason. " the young man smiled. "I'm christopher!"
Sasha smiled. "Well, maybe we should get together sometime. Perhaps today! For tea!"
Jake nodded. "Yes! Lets!" Christopher nodded. "Where and when?" Sasha answered. " in the woods, near Strangle brook, at 3:00" Christopher nodded. " see you there. " jake and Sasha walked away, towards the Inn where they where they were staying.
