Katie stared at James, most of his once handsome scales had their tips broken off and he had many bite marks on him from the water snake. a random, lavender Corn Snake slithered out of a bush looking confused. “What happened?” She asked. “A Water Snake.” Katie answered.
“Oh... need help?” The Corn Snake offered.
“N-no, i’m fine, honestly. Now who are you?” James grunted, lifting his head.
“I’m sure you’re fine but you’re probably sore and hurt from the fight.” Katie said.
“I’m Kaia. Have you seen my brother? He is a pink snake named Coral and he went missing years ago.” Kaia asked.
“Well... um have you consid-” Katie was cut off as two snakes came out of the bush and they both stared at Kaia.
“Come Kaia. Don’t forget what happened last time a snake came here. Coral was attacked by a water snake and now he’s-” one of the Snakes said before getting cut off. “He’s alive and I know it! Stop lying!” Kaia interrupted. “Kaia! Watch your tone! Now c’mon!” Kaia follows the two snakes and James and Katie glanced at each other before heading back to King Daniels palace.
“Where have you been!” King Daniel’s voice boomed with anger. “And James, I expected better from you! You should know not to hang with this peasant!” Katie stared at King Daniel and her eyes narrowed. “I am no peasant, you are not higher then anyone, and You are as much of a peasant then I am!” Katie hissed. “You dare say such things!” King Daniel yelled. James slithered in front of Katie, his eyes narrowed as well. “Beg your pardon Daniel, but Katie is right. No one, and I mean /no one/ I said higher then anyone’s. Everyone is equal.” “James! What has this girl been telling you! I am king! I am higher then everyone!” Daniel protested.
Katie tried to protest but before Katie could say anything Daniel started to command his guards. “Get these snakes out of my sight! And to the dungeon.”
Raise your hand if you want to drop kick Daniel! *lavitates*
