"It's obvious that you're Chara."
"Well well well, you remember. Good girl, Frisk!"
"I thought you weren't gonna annoy me." She replied in a rather annoyed voice. Seems she was wrong about me not annoying her.
"I didn't yet," She pauses. "... But I mean, I can still bother you at the end of the Pacifist route. I can bother you even if you cheat on the genocide route, you know."
"And? Leave me alone. I'm trying to live. Kabby just threatened to murder me."
Chara frowns. "Aw, you would rather live than spend alone time with me?"
"Yes. Very much."
She chuckles. "Okay~"
And she disappears.
Chara; Point of view
I open my eyes to see...
Some strange black girl with horns. They're breaking, too. I wonder if that's a good thing for me?
Frisk said something about Kabby. And how she threatened to murder us.
So this is Kabby? She does look kind of creepy with the whole black hate thing going o-
Oh. Okay then. Hate person makes sense. I should just walk away. Just walk away, Chara. Don't be stupid.
"Hey!" I wave at this... Kabby person.
She raises an eyebrow.
"What?" "I'm just saying hi. My names-"
'Kabby' speaks in a very unimpressed tone of voice. "-Are you trying to confuse me?"
"Whaat? Nooo. I'm totally not trying to confuse you, 'Kabby'." "Your name IS Kabby, right?"
She laughs. "Wait, you're not actually trying to confuse me? Are you okay, Frisk?"
I roll my eyes. "Frisk is sleeping."
She stares at me suspiciously.
I shrug. "Yeah, sort of. I'm in charge of the body right now."
"Come on, hasn't Frisk told you about me? She really is dumb, thinking I'd never gain control again. Should've at least given her friends a warning just in case."
Kabby scoffs. "I'm not her friend."
"Well, that makes two of us."
"I didn't say you were automatically Frisk's friend just 'cause you're stuck in her body." She shrugs.
"Oh, was it that obvious that I was stuck here?"
Now it's my turn to raise an eyebrow.
She laughs again. "Flowey talked to me about you. Chara, isn't it?"
"Y... Yeahhh. Flowey?"
"Yeah!" Kabby smiles. "I don't know where he is, he's scared of me."
Ha. Makes sense, you're a crazy Hate girl with horns. I know I'd be scared...
If I were him. But I'm obviously NOT scared.
Okay, I am a little bit.
"Can you help me find him? He's been wanting to see you, he really misses you."
I cough. "Why the heck would he tell YOU that? You're a crazy Hate girl with... weird cracky hor-"
"-DON'T mention the horns!!" She interrupts. "Not MY fault they're breaking!"
"Wow, touchy, are we?"
She points a claw at me. Ay, she has claws. Are those normal?
"Do you really want to keep annoying me?"
I clap my hands a few times. "I'm so GOOD at annoying people though!"
Her suspicious look returns.
"I know you care about him. Why don't you want to see him?"
"Because you're crafty and you probably just want me to go see him so we can be all like 'oh my GOSH Chara you live!!' 'oh my gosh Flowey you live!!' and then you murder us both."
"How do you know I'm 'crafty'?"
"Uh, duh. You're a Hate girl." "Hate people are crafty or dumb. You aren't dumb, so you're crafty."
"That doesn't make any sense."
"... Anyway. Seems you know a lot about Hate."
"Nah, not really. I've heard of it, that's all~"
Kabby nods. "In that case, did you 'hear' how to..." She grins. "Get rid of it?"
"Is that grin on purpose or is it because you're an unstable Hate girl?"
"... The second one."
I shrug. "Works for me!"
"But I think the only way to get rid of the Hate is to, like... be shown a ton of kindness from someone you love."
"In that case, I'm dead." Her grin shifts.
"Well, good luck with that!" I start walking away...
And. Waaaaait a second.
"ASRIEL. WHAT THE HECK." I turn to look in the direction where the voice came from, which is, obviously, Flowey's voice. "I was JUST about to leave and now YOU have to show up?! Seriously?"
"So... you are Chara?"
"Yeah, duh, I'm Chara. But you kinda gotta... not... die and stuff."
Flowey slowly turns towards Kabby.
"See? You see what I'm talking about?!" I sigh. "Get back in the ground."
He looks back at me. "Why?"
"GET. BACK IN THE GROUND."
"Slippery little flower." Kabby murmurs, holding tightly onto his stem.
"No no no! Lemme go! Lemme go!!"
"Let Flowey go, you moron."
Kabby doesn't bother looking at me. "I've been trying to catch this slippery little guy for a long time."
"Maybe 'cause he's too good at hiding to die!! LET. HIM. GO."
Kabby pulls a dagger from her sleeve...
And she cuts Flowey's stem in half.
I'm not scared,
but that was one terrifying shriek.
