This a simple, but functional OS on Scratch. It is not that far in the development process, but soon, it will be fairly advanced *dives back into the dark pit of trying to code a coding language*. See the notes and credits
for how to make an app for this OS.
Double click an app to open.
Files: Open files (remember to append the file type when opening files. (i.e. "Read-me.sdocs", not "Readme".) Note: The option for editing documents from files is not currently available.
Docs: Create and edit documents.
Terminal: Enter commands by typing /"totally generic command name that you should replace with one of the commands below".
/Open: Open an app by typing /"name of app".
Blue: This is a dodging game. It is broken. I will fix it when I get off mobile.
Thanks for viewing this project, and please comment with any suggestions.
All by me.
Note: If you want to use this as an actual os, then, (in Chrome) you can pin the tab. Save codes will be implemented in version 0.2.1
Note: If you want to create an app for this OS, remix the project, duplicate an app, replace the variable with the name of the app with a variable with the name of your app, do the same thing for the broadcast, and add your app's code under the receiver for the new broadcast. Please add comments explaining how it works. Also, new features will be added as this os progresses. You can do the same with your app. But make sure that somewhere in each version of your app, you include the oldest version of ScratchOs that your app is compatible with, i.e. Compatible with ScratchOs v0.2.1. Anyways, once you've done all of that, here is how to publish your app. Name the remix "ScratchOs v[version you decided to remix] with [name of your app]". I will add your app to the current version, and I will put directions for your app (and credit to you for making the app) in the instructions.
