IMPORTANT!: Sickness, some violence and warrior cat cursing such as mouse-brain or fox-heart.
About the Story:
There's been a terrible sickness in the forest where the 4 Clans, BlossomClan, NightClan, ScarletClan and RunningClan, reside. It wiped out most of the cat population, and leaves an average of 2-6 cats in each Clan alive. Will the 4 Clans, formerly in disagreement, tension and unrest, be able to put aside their differences and come together to reform the great Clans before it's to late? Before the Clans turn into a bunch of rouge groups? Read more to find out. By the way, the cats in the pic are a few of the cats in the story. Cat 1: Bristlepelt Cat 2: Cypressdapple Cat 3: Shadowtuft Cat 4: Cinderpaw Cat 5: Songbird Cat 6: Silver and Cat 7: Blaze. I found the picture online though, I did not draw it. You won't meet Songbird, Silver or Blaze until later on though.

-----BACK FROM THE ASHES------
- CHAPTER 1 -
The gray she-cat sighed. "I don't think I can save her, Dewpaw... She's too sick. It's too late. And I'm not even a full medicine cat yet. What can I do?" I looked down. "I'm sorry, mom, I'm sorry Dewpaw..." The silver she-cat began crying more heavily than before, which seemed impossible a few seconds ago. "Y-you can't d-d-do anything to s-save hh-her?" she whimpered. "No, lil sis... I'm sorry..." Dewpaw's face turned angry. "I hate you! Your the worst big sister ever! I wish you died too!" She cried, coughing in between words. She ran out, crying and coughing and sniffling. "Dewpaw, wait! I'm sorry!" I yelled. "Sorry isn't going to cut it! My mother is dead, and so is my brother! It's not fair!" She screamed. I felt a tear go down my cheek. I scrunched up my eyes and wiped it away. "She'll get over it," I muttered. Rustpaw walked over and plopped down beside me. "Hey, it's okay. She's young and doesn't understand. We know it's not your fault." "But she's not wrong, Rustpaw. I'm not even a full medicine cat and I'm practically worthless. I can't even help anyone," I murmured, laying my paw gently on my mother who was barely moving, coughing occasionally and breathing heavily. I held in tears, "I'm a failure, Rustpaw. I should've died, not my mom, my brother, my mentor... Not anyone should've died but me! Yet me, the failure, is still here!" I mewed. "You're not a failure, Cinderpaw... It's not your fault, not any of it, and you are not a failure." He slowly wrapped his tail around me, blushing. "Rustpaw, quit. Nothing's changed. I'm still a medicine cat," I said. He quickly moved his tail back, blushing brighter. "Uh, s-sorry." I sighed, "It's okay." He brightened up again, back to his normal positive self, still blushing, "But your right. You are a medicine cat. A mighty good one, at that. You are not a failure." He paused, "Remember when you helped my dad after that huge battle between ScarletClan, you saved my Dad's life." I got up, "No, I didn't save him. I helped my mentor with it, that's all," I mewed. Rustpaw got up too. "You are not a failure, Cinderpaw," he meowed and brushed himself against my fur as he walked out of the den.
