Laurence groaned, lifting his head from the floor with a wince. Ugh, this was the worst hangover he'd ever had.
"Damn, I'm gonna kill Louis for spiking my drink again.."
He sat up, holding his head and groaning at the slight pain. "Oh wait.. Right, prison.. Got my head smashed into a wall.. Ow, ow, that hurts.."
He winced, rubbing his head, before glancing around wearily. Sometimes he wished they hadn't isolated him from the other prisoners. At least then he could get someone else to figure out that conversation, and what borrowing him meant. Though, if he had to guess, he'd say they were going to kill him.
He spaced out for a second, staring at the wall, before jerking back into reality when his cell door slammed open.
Laurence turned to see the guard from last night, Paul, in the doorway, holding a measly meal of an apple, a few grapes, and some stale bread.
He stared, before reluctantly taking the plastic plate when Paul gave him a warning look. As soon as Laurence had the plate, the guard was out the door, locking the cell behind him as he went.
'Okay, sure, the food here sucks and comes in tiny portions, but not this tiny or this bad.' He thought as he stared at his breakfast, gingerly picking up the apple and taking a bite, making a disgusted face at the sandy apple.
You don't know how bad that is until you've had a sandy apple yourself.
The bread was much the same (Disgusting, that is), but the grapes were okay.
Laurence sighed, placing the plate with the left over apple and bread on the floor, and staring out of the bars, going still as he heard a door creak open, and quiet footsteps come towards him.
He caught a glimpse of them, and saw with wince that it was Paul, Jensen, and someone else he didn't know, but she looked like a guard.
He moved back when they stopped in front of his cell, the new guard unlocking it and holding it open while Paul stepped inside, roughly grabbing Laurence by the arms before placing hand cuffs on him, gagging him with some fabric and dragging him out of the cell.
Laurence desperately tried to get away, shouting muffled curses at them as he was dragged out of the small prison he'd lived in for two months, dragged past multiple, confused scientists, and thrown into what looked like an animal enclosure.
He was still gagged, and his hands were tied as Paul slammed the door into the enclosure shut.
He caught a brief glimpse of Jensen's face before the door shut, and saw him grinning maniacally.
