So, I'm writing a humorous fantasy series called 'Aragone: Myths of the Forgotten Realm'. The series is split up into two trilogies. The first one is 'The Lost Realms', and the second one is 'The Safe Place'.
The first few chapters of 'The Safe Place' book one 'The Legends of the Deep' is on my blog. I'm editing it right now, so I would really appreciate your feedback.
Here's a basic summary of the entire plot:
Once, there was a magical land called Aragone, which was a safe haven for all the magical creatures of earth. The only pathway from the earth to Aragone was a door hidden on an island in the center of the Bermuda Triangle. The realm was ruled by eleven nymph rulers, who were called Keepers. One day, the Keepers went down to earth on a mission and there, all the Keepers except for Xerionsies, Keeper of the Night and Nehelamite, Keeper of Dreams, fell in love with mortals and married them. Unable to bring the mortals back to Aragone, the Keepers went back and forth between their life on earth and their life ruling Aragone. They left most of the work to Nehelamite and Xerionsies. Xerionsies soon became greedy because of all the power he had gained, and decided to take over the realm. Soon, his plot was discovered, and he was banished to the Second Domain, a realm where the worst criminals were kept, and replaced by his brother, Saron. With a deal between the wicked king of the Empire of the East, Elliel, Xerionsies turned the Second Domain into his own realm and destroyed Aragone, forcing the Keepers and the mystical creatures to flee to earth. There, using Nehelamite's Enchanted Thread, the Keepers created a school hidden in the forest of Colorado and made a force field that would hide it from mortals and Xerionsies's men. The Keepers were safe for many years until suddenly, they all disappeared except for Nehelamite, who hid in the Labyrinth of Truth that belonged to the elves of the North. But all hope is not lost. The Keepers had heirs; young teens that are part human and part nymph.
But each one of them has a choice.
Will they save the earth from Xerionsies, or will they join him for power?
Alright. So after that so-called "short" summary, I'm finally ready to reveal my problem. Well, problems... xD
1. My characters are going on a quest to save earth. They have to go to the Bermuda Triangle, through a labyrinth, and more. I need ideas for challenges.
2. My characters have to get from Colorado to Florida. Any ideas for transportation.
