NOTE: you don't just have to talk
about the "Topic of the Day" here
(I noticed someone had a doubt
about it, so just confirming! ^U^).
Talk about anything you want
(just keep it respectful), the topic
of the day is just an idea on what
to discuss! :D <3
>>>>>>> What is this? <<<<<<<
This studio has the purpose of discussing various topics of inequality in the world. Every day, many have to battle for basic human rights and equality. There are several biases inside every one of us, inevitably, that we grow since an extremely young age. It's not about not having biases. We all have them. What's important is recognizing those biases and trying to fight them.
The list of groups that have to fight each day just to be treated as humans is endless. Many believe that, simply because of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or political opinions, some humans are inferior to others. Others are more subtle. They believe in certain stereotypes that society teaches us since we are young. Is it "our" fault? Not really. But it is our duty to fight the biases we have.
These topics actually matter a lot to me. :) <3
>>>>>>> What to Add <<<<<<<
It would be difficult for me to start listing my opinions on each topic, that's for the comment section!
You can add projects related to equality/diversity, please don't add anything else.
>>>>>>>> Important <<<<<<<<
If you do not agree with something this studio suggests, I'd be more than happy to hear you out! Just remember to be completely polite and respectful, please try to not hurt anyone's feelings. However, if you simply want to express an opinion in a peaceful, respectful way, feel totally free to do so.
>>>>>>>>> Curating <<<<<<<<<
If you have been invited, you don't have to join, just like in the #Feminism studio, feel no pressure to do so! ^U^ <3
If you want to curate, just ask! :D
Only add projects related to the topic of equality/diversity. :)
>>>>>>>> Managing <<<<<<<<
Fill out the form to apply for manager! :D
IMPORTANT: whether or not you can manage will NOT be judged based on your political opinions. :) <3
• Managers can suggest quotes
for the "Topic of the Day." :D
• Managers can invite curators! :D
// Username (no "@")// How long you have been in this studio (must be more than 1 week, know I can verify your answer) // How much have you commented on this studio? Rate your activity on a scale of 1 to 10 (be honest, I am aware of how active you are). // Define "equality" in your own words. // Why is this important to you? // Why do you want to be manager instead of just curating?
>>>>>>>>> Heading <<<<<<<<<
Currently not accepting heads, sorry! >u<

make big decisions (after
consulting all the other ones).
