Merry (Late) Christmas!
Have a chapter ♡
It my birthday today
today AKA December 28th
I didn't see any smoke.
I didn't hear any screams.
But, obviously, Kabby is doing SOMETHING, right?
I mean, really.
She's possessed by Hate.
She's possessed by Hate... I don't know how Hate works.
I know it's named after what people think creates it, or maybe summons it.
But that's all. Will she still retain her memories? Will she, even if she does retain them, tell me what's going on?
I'm not even a teenager yet and I already hate my life.
But I guess I'm not normal, so it's okay.
First thing to do is look for her. She can't be outside the city; she lives here and I doubt even Hate could get her to leave the area.
"Kabby!!" I called, despite the looks that nearby people gave me. "Kabby?!"
"If you don't come out, I swear I'm gonna murder you! Where the heck are you?!"
I sighed and finally went quiet due to the people around me.
I didn't think she would answer anyway...
I walked towards the alley where I first found her, then since she wasn't there, I walked towards where I saw her talking to Flowey.
"Hey!! Lemme go! Lemme go!!"
I walked slower and peeked around the corner.
Sure enough, Kabby and Flowey were there. But not plotting.
Kabby was holding Flowey by his stem and holding a fireball to his face.
"Pleeease don't kill me! You were gonna go kill Frisk, not me!! I was gonna help you!!" He sobbed.
"Don't kill me! I've died once already!!"
Kabby raises an eyebrow. "I know that." "But why aren't you using your like, really enhanced monster magic right now? You have two human Souls." She grins and pushes her hand closer to Flowey's face.
I heard Flowey begin to cry, and say something quickly.
Ugh. You should know it's hard to understand people when they're crying, Flowey. You're just gonna get yourself killed.
"... Not that I care about you."
Flowey looked up in surprise at me.
How did he hear me? He was crying so loudly. Dang you Flowey.
"UGH." I growled loudly as I stomped over to the two idiots.
"What's wrong with you two? I mean, I understand Kabby right now, but.." I sighed and shook my head. "You were going to KILL me?!"
Flowey had a look of terror on his face as he nodded, but he kept his eyes fixated on Kabby.
She looked up at me, grinning. "Hi."
Her eyes were black, and there were little strings of black over all of her body, except her horns, which apparently had... small cracks at the bottom.
"You don't look so good."
I growled at her. "So I don't look so good. Give it a rest, Kabby, you know it's your fault I'm hurt like this."
"Now why were you planning to kill me? I thought we were..."
I trailed off, since we aren't really friends anymore. I didn't- I DON'T want to be friends with her.
"-Friends?" Kabby finished my sentence a few seconds later, probably due to the fact that I clearly wasn't going to finish it myself.
"We aren't friends. You clearly don't like me..."
I snarled. "You burned Cristina's house down."
"And? It was an accident."
"You expect me to believe that when you were planning to kill me?!"
She grinned. "I wasn't planning to kill you, I was going to trick Flowey into trying to kill you so we could kill him together."
I reached behind my back to pull out my knife, but... I forgot my backpack.
I quietly swore and stepped away from Kabby. "Are you going to kill me, or are you..."
Kabby pushes her burning hand against Flowey, causing him to cry out.
"Killing monsters is my goal, not you... as long as you aren't in the way." She sighed. "I'm sick and tired of this."
Sick and tired of what, me not being in the way?
"So will you step back and let me kill him in peace? It'd be really helpful." She gave me a horrifying smile.
I stared at Flowey, who was still crying out.
Poor guy. He HAS already died once, why does Kabby want him dead again?
I guess I can't complain, I've killed him countless times.
I suck, don't I?
"Why do you want him dead?" I murmured, and I saw Kabby shoot me an angry expression.
"Why do you care?!" She screeched. "You don't need to know! It doesn't concern you!!"
Well, not just shook. I'm still shaking.
What's wrong with her?!
I only asked why she wanted to kill him. Geez.
I'd answer that question if she asked ME.
Flowey's loud voice pierced my thoughts.
"Hey! Can you PLEASE help me?! I promise I won't try to kill you again, really, just pleaaase don't let her kill me!!"
I gave him an unimpressed expression. "I don't help people, much less you."
I glanced at Kabby's face for a moment.
"... On second thought-" I started, but I stopped when I felt my feet floating off the ground.
Oh, great. Just great.
And for a moment... I fell asleep.
