In the land of Teradoka, the two kingdoms of Light and Shadow are on the brink of war. Mixed-race orphans Rikki and Never lead the Doroqas, a gang of other mixed-race refugees living in Light, and protect them from the Light police force tasked with hunting them down. After a tragic incident destroys most of the Doroqas, Rikki and Never escape with Shadow Heir Lunetclauir Cobalt to the Kingdom of Shadow, and embark on a quest to find the mystical relic that Lunetclauir's father died in search of, in hopes that it can grant their individual wishes, and end the war tearing apart Teradoka.
