Games by StickyPup.
As a kid I learned to program computers with the goal of creating video games. While I never made a professional career making games, the knowledge gained from programming games launched my career as a business application developer.
The best way to get kids interested in computer programming, is to start them off making games. The process has always been overwhelming for beginners; if you were savvy enough to get the tools properly installed, you’d still need to learn what all those funny symbols mean and where they go. With Scratch, no installations are required, and creating a program is as simple as dragging and dropping elements together. Students will be able to make their very own video games they can share with the world. Along the way they will learn important computer programming concepts starting them on their way to being full-fledged information technology professionals.
