agender: a term for those under the non-binary spectrum who don't identify as male or female
asexual/romantic: someone with lack of sexual attraction (asexual) or someone with lack of romantic attraction (aromantic)
bisexual/romantic: attraction toward any two genders [male, female or nb]
cisgender: someone who identifies as the gender they were assigned at birth
ftm: female to male; a term used for people who were assigned female at birth, but haves transitioned to/identifies as male.
heterosexual/romantic: someone who is attracted to the sex "opposite" their own.
homosexual/romantic: someone who is attracted to the same sex as their own.
gender expression: a term referring to how a person expresses themselves and their gender through things such as physical appearance and clothing. not the same as gender identity.
gender identity: a term referring to what gender a person feels that they identify strongest with. not the same as gender expression.
gender non-conforming: an umbrella term for anyone who's gender expression does not always match their gender identity [note: NOT the same as being trans or agender!]
mtf: male to female. a term used to describe someone who is assigned male at birth, but has transitioned to/identifies as female
non-binary: an umbrella term referring to anyone identifying as neither female nor male.
pansexual/romantic: someone who is attracted to others regardless of gender.
polyamory: the desire to have a relationship with more than one person.
queer: an umbrella term for anyone unsure of their sexuality or gender. some identify with this term and some don't. both are valid <3
skoliosexual: attraction to only people in the non-binary spectrum
transgender: a person who does not identify with the gender they were assigned at birth
