~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This month is Pride Month. Don't be afraid to be who you are. But Pride Month shouldn't last just one month. People should be able to be who they are without a special month.
What is pride month?
Pride month is a month to celebrate those who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, asexual, pansexual, and nonbinary.
What is LGBTQ+?
Lesbian means females like females
Gay means males like males (or any person attracted to people of their own gender)
Bisexual is a person attracted to both males and females
Transgender is a person who identifies with a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth
Queer is a general, nonspecific term for a person who is LGBTQ+
Asexual is a person who doesn't feel sexual attraction
Pansexual is a person who is atracted to people regardless of gender
Nonbinary means a person who does not identify fully with either being male or female
(I got this from another LGBTQ studio, so I give all credit to them)
Being LGBTQ+ is nothing to be ashamed of, and you should feel free to express yourself.
I hope that anyone who is LGBTQ+ understands that we are here for you.
