There are Gamemakers that create the surprises in the arena, which changes every year. In this year's arena, you are on your platform around the Cornucopia, which contains weapons and other useful supplies, in the middle of a large forest with some small streams and one large lake. You have 60 seconds on your platform before the horn sounds. If you step off early, an explosion launches you sky-high, killing you. Everyone in the Games is from one of the twelve districts, which are all known for what they provide for the Capitol. There is one male and one female from each of these twelve districts. Well...that's the Hunger Games. May the odds be ever in your favor!
