The world is corrupted. An unpredictable virus has taken over. Nobody knows how. Cities have been reduced to no more than piles of rubble in the chaos, and billions of people have died. The government were overthrown and there is now a world without laws. But they are rising up again, desperate for a cure. For answers.

People react to the virus differently
You either:
-Die straight away
-Take a few days to die, painfully
-Turn crazy, with no sympathy,you cannot control yourself
-Become mutated into zombie-like creatures, then wander pointlessly, killing people and feeding on them until eventually they collapse and die
-Live with the virus with some side-effects, craziness and fits of memory loss and spasms
-Are not affected
-Gain a 'power' from it

The government needed to know why some people weren't affected by it, or how some got powers. So they stole children. Taking hundreds of kids and locking them up in a facility in the middle of a desert wasteland, watching and testing them, seeing how they interacted with others, and cruelly torturing them to find a cure. They have so far been unsuccessful.

Children who are taken to the facility never come out. They are kept there forever. Some die from the disease and others go crazy.
They interact with each other everyday, sleeping in dorms and eating together, almost like a regular school. But everyday they are taken away and tested on. There powers are tested. They reactions to different situations. They are guarded by men called 'Keepers'. There is no escape.
