Once there was a time when the sheep could be trusted. When they were considered safe. Before they became locked away.
But that was twenty years ago. A horrible accident in a lab affected a group of sheep, a group of about one hundred. It caused their genetics to make the children they eventually had to be born insane. As time went on, this gene spread until almost every sheep had it.
What once was a 0.2 percent chance became a horrible 38 percentage. With the sheep population being over a million, that meant that there was also at least 380,000 sheep born crazy, and 5 percent of the population that hadn't been born so became insane from excessive contact and encounters with these sheep.
What had once been large cities became massive asylums. As more and more insane sheep were born, the other species of animals got more and more paranoid until the sheep were closed off entirely from the other animals.
However, they couldn't just leave the sheep alone. They couldn't risk the sheep finding a way to leave. So they created spies.
Wolves, being incredible in running, stamina, and fighting, were the immediate choice. The term 'wolf in sheep's clothing' went from an insult of a sly person to a title for a brave hero trying to save others' minds.
But sheep aren't the only ones to have changed.
What once was a scam is now real. Psychics, who used to fake supernatural connections, truly do now. Like the sheep, it came as a gene and came from an accident.
Nobody quite knows how the psychic gene came around. Only that it came from an incident during a psychic session. However, now they truly can speak to the dead, and are in fact even honored by many because of their rare ability.
However, psychics can't save the population for what's to come. The sheep are beginning to rebel, and some have already escaped from their asylum-like cities-- causing chaos in their wake.
Seeing ghosts can't help the police catch who's behind the rebellion and deaths... Or can it?

BIO INFO/ CHARACTER INFO:
Sheep- Though 67% of the population is sane and safe to be around, that other 43 percent means the sheep can't be trusted. Black sheep seem to be immune to this insanity gene.
Cheetahs- Often found in Olympics due to their natural speed. However, they are often ADD and/or ADHD, which may or may not be an after-effect of their insane speeds.
Foxes- Often discriminated against with the stereotypes of being sly and cold if they're male and flirtatious and a prostitute if they're a vixen, these animals are often sensitive and have a tendency to receive depression, anxiety, and emotional mental disorders and illnesses. Bipolar seems to be an exception for this.
Bears- These animals are often seen in wrestling and fighting sports, for obvious reasons. They're stereo-typically gruff, rude, and in gangs.
Lynxes- The smallest of the animals, they are probably the least stereotyped. Because of this lack of insults, these animals are the least likely to develop anxiety or depression.
Rabbits- Known for being jumpy, these animals tend to have anxiety. A whopping 73 percent of rabbits have or have had anxiety at some point.
Wolves- Known for being heroic and brave, these animals are the only one without any tendencies to develop mental illnesses. They are often given privileges because of this, however, and are the most likely to be racist out of all the animals.
Komodo Dragons- Less liked than even foxes, komodo dragons are loathed by nearly every other animal. This is due to their violent history of attacks, but even still only 0.1 percent of their population causes these attacks. However, the fact of an animal with venom scares animals, so they're hated none-the-less.
All jobs are possible for all species. However, some of the complications:
Sheep can't have jobs including dangerous materials. This includes being a policeman/woman, be in the army, or be in a factory.
Lynxes are too short to do some jobs, mainly factory ones.
All animals can be psychics, but only rabbits can actually have the psychic gene.
Wolves, obviously, are the only animals that can be a Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.
