Donna: Drew! (The blue energy hits Donna. There's a flash of light. She's floating in a white abyss.)
Enith’s voice: She’s found them. (Cut to the inside of an obsidian cave. Enith lay chained to the floor.)
Enith: I knew she would. My imprisonment will finally end. (Cut back to Donna. She’s looking around.)
Donna: Hello? (Suddenly everything is normal. She’s standing in the town in front of Drew, panting.)
    Sam: That’s impossible.
Donna: What just happened. What’s going on? Who are you? And what was that?
Drew: Donna? (She’s still got her eyes closed)
Donna: You can open your eyes, Drew. (She does so. Meanwhile, Sam has gotten on the phone)
Sam: Rich. I need you here right now. Trust me, you'll want to see this.
Drew: Tell us what’s going on!
Sam: Oi! You’re in no position to be making demands, thief.
Drew: Donna, your arm… (Donna looks. A faint blue symbol is there.)
Donna: What is that? (Rich has run up.)
    Rich: Sam?
Sam: The blond one’s got void magic.
Rich: Void magic… Are you sure? (Sam nods. He turns to Donna) You need to come with us.
    Drew: She’s not going anywhere.
Donna: Drew… (She turns to Rich) Please. Just tell us what’s happening. (She gestures to her arm) What’s this symbol mean?
Rich: You know about the guild, right?
    Drew: (Scoff) Yeah.
Rich: Okay. Then you know we’re in charge of keeping tabs of the magic inside this kingdom.
Donna: So, you guys are members of the two kings’ personal ‘magic army’?
Sam: (Venomous. At Rich) Yeah. Which is supposed to be secret information.
Rich: (Laughing) Since when do you care about staying secret? (To Donna again) Listen, please come with us.
Donna: I won’t go anywhere without her. (gesturing to Drew)
Sam: Well, sorry. Magicless thieves are not allowed to - (She’s cut off)
Rich: Fine. She can come too.
    Sam: What are you doing?
Rich: Well, you know Chief’s always looking for new skills on the team. Maybe she'll like a conman.
    Drew: Conwoman.
Rich: Naturally. (He winks at her. Drew just stares at him. He sighs) So. Are you coming?
Donna: Fine. (Rich gestures for them to follow and he heads off. They rendezvous with Doc and Damion.)
Doc: Ooh. Who are these people?
Rich: New recruits. (Damion grunts) Ignore him. Doc? (Doc raises his hand in a circular motion. A portal appears)
    Drew: Awesome.
Doc: Thanks! (Speaking incredibly quickly) I have gateway magic, so basically I can create a window through space to any location I’ve seen before. Well, technically if I were more skilled, I could go anywhere that’s been de - (cut of by Damion)
Damion: I will stuff my fist in your mouth.
Doc: (Laughs nervously) He’s kidding. (Damion readies his fist.) He’s not.
    Donna: Who are you guys?
Doc: I'm Doctor Robert Eugene Trimon, but please just call me Doc!
Damion: You know you don't have to give out your full name every time you introduce yourself, right?
Rich: And this ball of sunshine is my brother, Damion. (Damion rolls his eyes and grunts)
    Doc: Well, come on!
Drew: Hold on, what's on the other side exactly?
Rich: The throne room of the Kings’ Castle.
Donna: Wow. Seriously? Best behavior, Drew.
(They walk through and appear in an elegant throne room, it's gold with huge windows and red tapestries. The two Kings sit at the end of a long hallway, talking)
    Sam: Stunning, isn't it?
Drew: A stunning waste of resources, more like. I mean, that tapestry alone is probably worth enough to feed the entire orphanage for a year.
Rich: (punching Damion lightly on the shoulder) See, I told you we were living too lavishly. You really need to start donating.
Damion: Stop trying to show off for the ladies, Rich.
Donna: Don't the two Kings know that so much of their population live in squalor?
Damion: Yeah, of course. They try to make it seem like they care for the regular people, though. Their son was adopted from the 'common lot’. Apparently that makes up for it.
Sam: Okay, seriously guys. Quit it. Don't criticise the kings in their own castle.
Rich: Sam's right. We have business to get to. This way. (He leads them to a portrait of a young woman. The inscription reads 'Lady Annika Ronderview - The First Archmage. Damion powers the symbol on his arm and it slides out of the way. There is a staircase down.) This is where we work. (They walk downstairs. Rich points to different doors on the way and names them.)
Rich: That's the lady’s dorm room. There's the guy's. Kitchen. Library. Up there is the monster dungeon. The prince is in charge of all the creatures, so he goes by Dungeon Master. He's a pretty cool guy. Anyway. Here we are. (He pushes open a pair of double doors. Inside is a cozy office. Abby sits on a chair. She turns to them.) Chief?
Abby: Oh, greetings! I'm Chief Abigail. Welcome to the Guild, Donna. Drew.
Donna: How did you know our names?
Abby: I've actually been expecting you both for awhile. I know that sounds cryptic... but it's been a long day for you. Get some sleep. We'll explain what's going on soon enough. Oh, go on. To bed. Tomorrow is going to be exhausting!
