This is not a studio for hate. It is a safe haven from bullies. Please invite others into this studio and add anti-bullying statements in the comments and add anti-bullying projects.
Many innocent lives have been heartlessly physically and/or mentally torn apart by bullies. Whether it's a physical attack, social destroyer, verbal insult, or cyber bullying, no one is happy.
I've done some research on the NCAB (National Centre Against Bullying) and figured out what these mean.
Physical bullying: Physical bullying includes hitting, kicking, tripping, pinching and pushing or damaging property. Physical bullying causes both short term and long term damage.
Verbal bullying: Verbal bullying includes name calling, insults, teasing, intimidation, homophobic or racist remarks, or verbal abuse. While verbal bullying can start off harmless, it can escalate to levels which start affecting the individual target. Keep reading in this section for techniques to deal with verbal bullying.
Social bullying: Social bullying, sometimes referred to as covert bullying, is often harder to recognise and can be carried out behind the bullied person's back. It is designed to harm someone's social reputation and/or cause humiliation. Social bullying includes: lying and spreading rumors, negative facial or physical gestures, menacing or contemptuous looks, playing nasty jokes to embarrass and humiliate, mimicking unkindly, encouraging others to socially exclude someone, damaging someone's social reputation or social acceptance. Cyber bullying can be overt or covert bullying behaviours using digital technologies, including hardware such as computers and smartphones, and software such as social media, instant messaging, texts, websites and other online platforms.
Cyber bullying: Cyber bullying can happen at any time. It can be in public or in private and sometimes only known to the target and the person bullying. Cyber bullying can include: Abusive or hurtful texts, emails or posts, images or videos, deliberately excluding others online, nasty gossip or rumors, imitating others online or using their log-in.
If you are having a problem with bullying, this is the right place to come to. I am making up a team of experts to help you with your problems:
@reyloforlife (main expert)
Ask me for more information on bullying. I'd rather not share the horrendous things that people have done...to themselves...because they had been bullied. Please invite other curators who would be interested and help others TODAY!
Why you'd like to help/How active are you/Some knowledge you have on bullying/At least one website you went on to research/Other helpful information
Thumbnail took me about 3 seconds to make :D
I will promote curators to managers if I feel they are a very good Expert or come to this studio often. If I decide you would make a good manager, I plead you don't change the thumbnail, description, or title. You can add more curators, but I will demote you if you decide to promote any of them without my permission. You can add projects but not delete them without my permission. You can delete comments, but only if you absolutely have to (ex: if the comment was about anti-anti-bullying). Although it is fun to be the manager, I'm afraid you don't have that much more freedom. One thing is that you may add more Expert's, but not delete any.
If you are a curator, you can ask ME to make changes to this studio, but not any another manager.
