FallClan territory is made up of light forests mainly consisting of birch, cedar, fir, aspen, and maple. The trees thin out even more on the large plateaus, cliffs, and the mini-mountains on the edge of the territory. Most of the territory is uneven, with dips, hollows, and hills. The terrain is also fairly rocky, with the occasional large, ancient, moss-covered boulder that tumbled from higher altitudes.
The forest isn't very lush, but prey enjoys hiding in rocky crevices, which are very common in the hills.
In the direction of the MudClan border lies a small lake and a medium-sized waterfall. FallClan was named after this iconic landmark.
Every half-moon, the medicine cats of FallClan, MapleClan, and MudClan travel over the hills, approaching the Moonledge. The Moonledge is a bare, slanted peak stretching out from a mini-mountain near the edge of the territory. Once they climb the well-worn trail up to it, they lie down and sleep, moonlight washing over their fur, and dream with StarClan.
Squirrels, birds, and mice are very common in FallClan territory, and sometimes even a deer shows up in the far hills. They are not huntable, but are said to be a sign of peace from StarClan.
When hunting on the patch of meadow territory FallClan owns, rabbits are most common. They run ancient trails through the tall grass and wildflowers. Being leaner and swifter than the other clans, FallClan hunts them easily, and many warriors enjoy the thrilling chase.
However, MapleClan is almost constantly fighting over who gets to claim a dry streambed in the middle of the meadow. Both clans want it, because it is popular rabbit track, with 3-5 rabbits on average hopping along it to get back to their burrows each day. The rabbits prefer it over running on new paths that are not yet clear.
