As night fell, far from the Rosenberg Medical Center, a group of strange animals gathered inside a cave.
"We have to find her!" Anyae the barn owl spoke. "If what you say is true, then she could very well be in danger!"
"I agree with Anyae. Without the Guardian, Ealdor will surely perish. It was only her presence that kept it safe all these years." Lord Bubbles the hamster-rabbit hybrid agreed.
"But, what can we do? Search the whole world for every single being with Ealdor's mark?" Amaris the Fox-Cat hybrid retorted, huffing.
"No.. No, I think it's about time the protectors of her Temple awoke." Your not suggesting--?" "You can't be serious, Anyae! If we were to wake them the humans would find us at best, and at worst they'll release the traitor!" The others were protesting left and right, until finally Iris the Cheetah spoke up.
"We must do everything in our power to find her. Without her, we will all die. Even if it means war, even if it means releasing that traitor, even if it means awakening my brothers, we must bring her back. Whatever the cost."
Sen awoke with a gasp, her pupils constricted as unwelcome images filled her mind;
Six black cheetahs emotionlessly tearing through cities and leaving death in their wake.
A black beast made of shadows, confined within a cage roaring as the door flew off it's hinges.
Her, standing in an open field before the beast, eyes cold as she looked at it.
Marilyn was speaking with a doctor, telling him of what she believed is wrong with the white haired girl, when suddenly they heard screams coming from her room.
Rushing in, the two found her curled up in a tight ball on the bed, eyes squeezed shut as she screamed. But, just as suddenly as it started, it stopped.
Shaking, Sen opened her eyes, which were rimmed with red. Marilyn immediately rushed over,"Oh, you poor dear,what happened?" But Sen wouldn't say a word, crying into the nurse's shoulder.
