Okey so looks like Flowey is plannin' something
I wonder what
maybe he wants to kill Azzy or something :3
"You know, Alphys, I might not kill you..."
"If you'll do something for me."
Alphys tensed. Flowey wasn't exactly the 'nicest person ever' so he probably wanted her to do something that wasn't good.
"And... w-what's that?" Alphys asked cautiously.
"I want you to lead Asriel to me." Flowey replied. "So I can destroy him."
Alphys opened her mouth to speak, but Flowey interrupted.
"I know you won't do it, Alphys." Flowey smiled. "Even though he killed Undyne."
Flowey grinned. "So you'll die."
Asriel was stumbling in the direction that Alphys ran off to.
His body was shaking wildly. He didn't have much time left.
"Alphys!" He called. There were a few moments of silence, then he heard a scream, and a familier laughter.
He quickened his pace, going as fast as he could in the direction of the sounds, then he stopped.
There was Alphys. She was dying.
There were spiky vines wrapped around her, coming out of the ground near Flowey.
"Howdy, Asriel!" Flowey greeted, smiling. "I thought you'd never show up!"
Asriel quickly ran to Alphys' side, but it was too late. She was turning to dust.
"Alphys!!" Asriel cried. "I'm really sorry for killing Undyne, I really am! I-"
"I-It's okay Asriel..."
"I-It's okay... j-just... you need to fix this... h-hurry..."
Then Alphys turned to dust. She was gone.
Flowey grinned at Asriel, and moved the vines to wrap around him.
"So, you're planning on trying to 'fix this' like she said, right?" Flowey chuckled. "You know, Asriel, the reason these things are happening is because of you." "You summoned me, Asriel. You caused a sort of 'glitch' in our little game."
Asriel stood there, silent.
"Asriel, it's just like I said. I'm you, just dead, so since i'm here, there's technically two of us." "That can't happen. The only way to 'fix it' is to kill one of us. And I know who's going down."
Flowey tightened his vines around Asriel. "It's you, Asriel. You're going down, not me."
Asriel could feel the thorns on the vines digging into him. He could feel his body shaking. There was truly nothing he could do. The only person who can stop this now is Flowey.
"Please..." Asriel choked. "What would Mom and Dad think?"
Flowey tightened the vines' grip on Asriel. "Mom and Dad are gone!!"
"Y-Yes... but..." Asriel sobbed. "I killed them... you didn't..."
Flowey stared at Asriel for a few moments. It was true, Asriel had killed his parents, not Flowey. Flowey had not even wanted them to die. Again, Flowey was Asriel, except dead. He cared about his family.
"I know... that... y-you cared about them..." Asriel forced a small smile. "Y-You... didn't want them... to die..."
Flowey tightened the vines as hard as he could. "Yes I did!! I did want them to die!!" He was determined to prove Asriel wrong. "I can't be a good person!!"
"Th-Then..." Asriel choked. "W-Why... would anyone... l-like you..."
Flowey was about to yell another retort, but he didn't. If he really did prove Asriel wrong, if he really couldn't be a good person, then why WOULD anyone like him? What reason would they have to like the monster they thought he was?
"... I don't know." Flowey mumbled, loosening the vine's grip on Asriel. "I guess I never thought about that."
Asriel smiled at him. "Well, next time you decide to go on an evil murder rampage, you'd better consider your options."
"Hey, you didn't!" Flowey growled.
Asriel began to sweat. "Uh, y-yeah, and I sincerely apologize for that."
Flowey gave him a hard look. "The question is, Asriel, will anyone forgive you for it?"
Asriel stared at Flowey for a moment, then began to cry. "I d-don't know!" He sobbed. "I d-don't deserve it a-anyway!"
"I said shut up. Don't say that. OF COURSE they're going to forgive you for this. You're the oh-so-wonderful Prince Asriel Dreemurr."
"I said SHUT UP." "Look, I don't mean it that way. Asriel, you're so nice, you're a good friend to everyone. You've been there for them, they'll be there for you. There's no question."
Asriel stared at Flowey for a moment. His sudden change of heart was strange. Did he really think that?
"Look... i'm sorry I forced you to kill everyone else. If I hadn't shown up, then you wouldn't be in this situation right now. Frisk would be alive. The Reset button wouldn't be corrupted." "All these problems, I caused them. From the start, it was really me who made that deal with Frisk, wasn't it?"
Asriel was silent, and after a few moments, nodded.
"Asriel, I don't deserve to live."
"I don't deserve to control you, or take your place. There's probably a reason I was only a forgotten memory, right?"
