"Please, you don't have to make a mistake. You can stop now. You can save everyone from the consequences of my mistakes."
Flowey stared at Asriel.
Finally, after a long silence, he opened his mouth to speak, but Asriel interrupted him.
"I know what you're gonna say, Flowey." He mumbled. "I'm an idiot. I never should have forgotten you. Why should you forgive me? Forgive anyone?" "Well, Flowey, I want you to think about that. You are me, aren't you? Everyone who is and was my family, is and was yours. You don't have to kill them for forgetting you. It was my faul-"
Flowey grabbed Asriel by the neck with a vine, chocking him. "You don't know anything!!" He screamed. "You don't know how lonely I was!! You don't know how I felt!! I was perfectly happy, until your 'friends' messed everything up!! But once I kill everyone you hold dear, you'll be sorry!! You'll be lonely, and forgotten, like me!!"
Suddenly, the vine let go and Flowey was gone.
"No..." Asriel looked around for Flowey. "No! He can't be gone!" "Flowey, please! Come back!"
It had been another 10 minutes. Asriel had been waiting for Flowey to show up again, but he eventually gave up on that and decided to look for any survivors.
Something seemed to tell him to go to Alphys' lab. He didn't know what, but he just felt like he should look there. He felt like... as if his Soul -or rather, Frisk's Soul- was talking to him. So he went there.
"Hello..?" Asriel called inside. "Hello?" "Hello, is anybody there?"
He waited a few moments for an answer. The only thing that 'answered' him was silence, so he stepped inside.
"Alphys? Are you in here?" He called. Still no answer. The second time he went around, he found a note taped to the wall upstairs that he had missed.
'Undyne... I can't believe she's gone... was Frisk really strong enough to kill her? I thought Undyne beat them... anyway, i'm not here anymore. I'm going to Undyne's house to cry, or something."
"Oh." Asriel murmured.
"Knock, knock!" Asriel said, next to the door of Undyne's house. "Alphys, are you in there? I want to talk to you about something."
"H-Huh?" There were a few crashing noises, then the door opened. It was Alphys, all right. "Asriel! You're alive!"
"Y-Yeah... I am." Asriel tried his best not to shake, but it was hard. It was probably another 7 minutes before he either died, or turned into Flowey as well. Probably the latter.
"Come on in!" Alphys encouraged, leading Asriel inside, then closing the door. The house had gone through a couple renovations since Undyne died. For instance, the walls were covered in anime posters. A lot of them. But that didn't matter.
"Alphys..." Asriel started, but then Alphys cut him off.
"A-Asriel, I need help." Alphys said. She seemed worried. Without waiting for an answer, she grabbed Asriel's hand and led him out the back of the house.
There was nothing there. Just a black void of nothingness.
"What..." Asriel stared at it in surprise. "How..?"
"I d-don't know." Alphys mumbled. "A l-little while after I c-came here, this appeared in th-the distance, but now it's r-right next to the house."
Asriel stared at the void for a while, and then grabbed Alphys by the arm and led her back inside.
"Alphys, I need to tell you something." Asriel said, hoping that Alphys wouldn't interrupt him again. "Frisk didn't kill Undyne."
"Then... w-who did?" Alphys asked quietly.
Asriel stared at the ground. "... I did." He mumbled. "I killed Undyne."
For a few moments, all Alphys did was stare at him in horror as tears ran down her face.
"You..." She mumbled in barely a whisper.
"I'm really sor-" Asriel began, but he stopped when he saw that Alphys had gone. She must have run off. There goes another friend.
Flowey was staring into a pool of water.
"Why do I have to be like this?" He asked himself. "Why can't I be like Asriel? Why can't everyone like me?"
Almost immediately after he said that, he heard crying. As he looked up, he saw it was the royal scientist, Alphys.
"She must have been in Undyne's house..." He mumbled to himself as he disappeared into the dirt, and came up behind Alphys. "Hey there! Something wrong?"
"Y-Yes..." Alphys sobbed, not bothering to look up. "A-Asriel killed Undyne... I d-don't understand why..."
"Well, ya see, Alphys, he wanted revenge on Frisk for killing a couple of his friends, so he decided to start killing their friends because they became nice again!" Flowey explained, smiling. "He's a jerk, isn't he?"
Alphys waited a few moments, then just nodded slowly. "I-Is that really true..?"
"Yep. I was inside his mind, so i'm sure of it."
Alphys looked up at him, and her eyes widened.
"F-Flowey?!" She jumped away from him. "How did..?!"
"'That's not important." Flowey said, smiling. "... You know, Alphys, I might not kill you..."
"If you'll do something for me."
